That's quite a mainstream push for Big E doing the intros for WIlder/Fury and a to lesser extent the college football pregame show.
They have lots of confidence in him. And it was only slight but RAW ratings were up. Hopefully people tune in and support that dude. Because he’s a grrreat guy.
I’ve never understood the need to air private issues on social media…. Clearly they have some issues going on that we know nothing about. Taking it online where millions of people who have no personal stake in the matter can now stoke the division is a route I can’t get behind. That’s not specific to just the case but all shit like this. I know friends and family that do this to different levels and it’s sad.
Devils advocate, if he is that big of a piece of shit, in public might be the only way to get him to acknowledge or change
Every week the new NXT setup bothers me more. First week I was indifferent to it because it was something new, but each week it becomes worse and worse. It’s bad.
Lol they have already ruined the new Next Big Thing. Shaved his head, acts like a maniac and runs away like a werewolf. They really can’t just get out of their own way and it’s sad.
I wasn’t a big fan of this new NXT just because they seem to pack these episodes with 3 hours of content in a two hour show. But I thought tonight was one of the best they have had. It was pretty good to me.
Show was not bad at all, I enjoyed it for the most part. The set is just awful though. I get wanting to make it brighter than the underground look they had before but it's like they did a complete 180 and it's just too much.
Former Impact and NXT wrestler (and maybe impact again? I don't follow them). She is engaged to Matt Cardona (Zach Ryder)
This guy has been freaking out for the last week because WWE is doing a 30 minute overrun on a show being broadcast on FS1 lol. He must be in his feels that Rampage is losing viewers week after week.
I don’t care tbqh. I’ve called WWE out for years and years. I’ve been critical of WWE on this page in this thread. The second you post anything critical of AEW this thread shits it’s pants.
Maybe its unintentional what you are doing, but you absolutely treat your conversations with the two very differently. Your tone of posts are far different, but maybe I am reading more into it. Carry on
Rampage did 500k last week with lots of sports competition. To beat SmackDown on FS1 they would need something like a 50% increase, week over week. Probably they need more like a 75% increase. I don't see it happening. That being said, it's funny how quickly the narrative has changed after NXT retreated to Tuesdays. The fact that the fight has shifted from "AEW's A-show vs WWE's C-Show," to "AEW's B-show vs WWE's A-Show" in so short a timespan is telling. Lot of WWE fans are arguing the very volatile day to day stock swings and only commenting when the swing goes down for AEW. Meanwhile a lot of AEW fans are zoomed out and looking at the trendline and it's overall trending up for the company.
I think this is just what Tony Khan looks like when he's asked to play the "wrestling owner in competition" role. He put Dynamite on Wednesdays to avoid competition. WWE moved NXT to USA to create competition. He put Rampage after Smackdown to avoid competition. WWE extended SmackDown to to create competition. But as soon as Tony Khan says "lol I can throw around the money and create a better show every week" the WWE fans go crazy. It's weird. Honestly the whole thing is weird to me. It would be like if EA Sports finally lost the exclusive NFL license and a competitor came along and made an NFL game that answers nearly every problem Madden fans had with the product... Would Madden fans be angry and take potshots at the new NFL game? Maybe. Maybe people are weird like that universally, but I think the vast majority of NFL video game fans would be over the moon for a competitive product. And if EA Sports tried to use their position of power to try and destroy the competition, I would think NFL video game fans would be angry and defensive for the competition. In fact I know they would be, because that's exactly what happened when NFL 2K5 released for $20 and EA paid a bunch of money to buy the exclusive rights, to the absolute outcry of the video game community while they pumped out a shit game year after year, reaping the financial rewards of an effective monopoly that benefited only them. So yeah, WWE's "diehard" fans are just weird.
It’s possible that I do have a different tone. As I said the reaction to negative post about one company vs the other is treated differently itt.
