From a purely on-field performance standpoint this is good news. You’ve got a coach that won one championship and then Leroy Jenkins’d life from that point forward and couldn’t be bothered to care anymore. However, the fact that no one of consequence has had to answer for the sexual and physical assault stuff is absolute garbage.
I don’t see why LSU goes after a big time recruiter, they have more NFL prospects in Louisiana than they can fit on the team. They just need a decent recruiter who can convince kids to stay home with LSU. Then get a guy who can hire quality assistants and let them do their job.
If you had a recruiter who was good outside of LA and still got those kids by default, you could assemble a pretty absurd roster that could hang with anyone imo
