One of the issues is that there is some sort of hang up between US Cellular and Verizon that doesn't allow us to roam properly on us cellular. If you search some of the Google forums you will find it. I had this issue a couple years ago when I needed to do some business using the phone and it was a huge pain in the ass.
My wife wants the 6 and I'd love to get it too, but i had to replace my 4 early due to water damage and got a 4a 5G which is going strong.
I'm curious about this pixel plan. They might as well bundle everything - yt premium, yttv, fi, equipment, etc. Let me just pay the man once and be done with it
Going off the US market, pro phones seem to be roughly $1000-$1400; though I'm expecting the P6 to be ~$750 and ~$1050. However, I hope they can keep the price under $1k for the pro. Just doesn't seem likely with mmwave and possibly UWB costs. If google is really ramping up marketing with massive ad budgets as rumoured, they ought to price both phones into the middle of the market, not above it.
Haven't been paying attention but if those prices are true I'll start. Aren't both these phones huge though? And what's the big advantage of the Pro?
Pro has a slightly bigger screen, faster refresh rate, more ram, slightly better camera, bigger battery
Would be a shame if they went w/ a true waterfall/overflow edge screen on the pro. I hope its essentially flat. If not, it better have perfect palm rejection.
My pixel 2 xl is still a rock star, but has been a bit shaky the last few months. I just hope it can hold out another few weeks. Best phone I've ever had and excited about the 6.
I went from a P2XL to a Pixel 4a. I didn't think I would notice a huge improvement but it really was shocking.
Definitely. Event starts at 1pm EDT. I'd say if you know for sure you want to buy, to be online and purchasing right away so you don't have to wait a month. Sounds like they ordered a bajillion of them, but everything in tech seems backed up.
Only thing I've seen promo-wise so far is free Pixel buds if you order through Target (and that might be all stores, not sure yet)...or some free nice ass Bose headphones if you're in Europe. I'm sure there will be more https://www.phonearena.com/news/Another-Pixel-6-pre-order-deal-at-Target-leaks-out_id135811
So basically the Google buds are free if you purchase Pro through Google ($99 off when checkout both). Are these any good? I wonder if there will be any better pre-order deals or sales. Doubt it.
