How much heat does Mullen have on him realistically? If he loses 3-4 games next year will they fire him?
James Franklin seems like a safer bet for LSU but has a lower ceiling than Kiffin. Kiffin isn't proven but he's a good recruiter and a top 5 offensive mind in CFB. Franklin will probably have them winning 9-10 games a year but I don't think anyone is shacking in their boots at the thought of him at LSU.

Franklin and his staff will be a really big pain in the ass recruiting against at a place like LSU. He goes only as good as his OC is. He’s upgraded the talent immensely at PSU. Also his S&C staff is really good.
Yes, it's obviously trending the wrong way and he's lost a large portion of the fanbase who follows the team year round. He'll probably be forced to make changes after this season but it's too late

Idk if Kirby told Chris Low that, but what that Brandon guy claims in his tweet is not quoted within the article nor is any quote suggestive of a 2-QB system. I could certainly see Stets used situationally. Or the fulltime starter if JT never is fully healthy. Doubt there would be a QB rotation.

I thought Florida had no chance to beat us and that we would completely obliterate and befuddle their QBs but....Pete Golding. It was a combination of Golding's shittiness and Dan Mullen having their QBs play above their heads. I think Mullen blew his load on that game and doesn't have much in the tank for Georgia. Also Kirby's defense won't be fundamentally awful and out of place like Pete's was against UF.

On the defensive side of the ball, I think it is obvious we are, but that in no way means we won't find some new and creative way to shit the bed and lose anyway. It's just what we do.
The Rivals recruiting guys for UT said that when Ty Simpson picked Alabama over Clemson and UT, that the Clemson coaches called them up and yelled at Ty and Simpson family for wasting their time. Before Pruitt was fired, people thought Pruitt might try and hire Ty's dad to coach TE's or something, but were worried about the look. Very bizarre. Heupel and the coaches just called and gave perfunctory congratulations and all the best.
Georgia is better coached on defense. Alabama is better coached in every other aspect. And our offense is infinitely better than Georgia's which is why we'll kick Georgia's ass in the SECCG.
