I have the biggest open water phobia yet I play subnautica and basically just panic and scream the entire time. should probably just stream doing this and rake in my bountiful profits from pain.
I always liked the gameplay and grind, but it seems like they made things unnecessarily convoluted as time went on. Maybe it keeps the hardcore players interested, but it lost me
Yeah Destiny you have to be all in or all out. It's either your entire gaming life or you stop playing
It’s really rather simple and straightforward once you get the basic premise down. Though I can see that being incredibly difficult for a daft simpleton such as yourself. Also thread please tell this man that he needs a god damn headset/mic in order to play multiplayer shit like Destiny. I mean it’s the year of our Lord 2021 for Christ’s sake.
The change to the seasonal model, for better or worse, has really changed that “all or nothing” feeling. A lot of the content is somewhat time gated so you can play just a few hours a week and not really fall behind like in D1/early D2.
D2 is way better now with crossplay. It definitely gets stale after a couple months of a new season, tho.
Decided to finish The Outer Worlds. Put like 3-4 hours into it last night and I think I am relatively close to finishing. I am level 20. Meh. I always come back to Rocket League but it's in little spurts. It's never really gone. Didn't like Myst. I always eye FF games. See below for Subnautica feels...
i almost failed out of law school because of destiny back in 2015-16. what a damn time sink that game was
I am definitely starting with Vice City, and playing that until I get to that RC plane mission that makes me want to murder David Cross. I’ll flip over to San Andreas at that time.
Probably the RC Helicopter one in the tower that's under construction. That one is super early in Vice City, but not nearly as bad as the Plane.
1. Very excited for Forza Horizon 5. I don't like "sim" racing games so I basically avoided all racing games. I tried FH3 and never looked back. This is the perfect not serious but still unbelievably good racing game. 2. Really enjoyed Moonglow Bay...had put almost 10 hours into it. I didn't save before a boss fight (had been playing 3 straight hours) and the game glitched out. No chance to get out without reloading and starting back three hours earlier. Such a shame but I just can't bring myself to play 3 hours over again so I guess I am done with it. Lesson - if you play that game, save all the fucking time.
I havent played Forza in years. How is the "replay value" on the game? Lately I feel like games get boring super fast because Im usually just doing single player modes (or at least 1v1 online). I wish one of the big sports games had an in-depth realistic franchise mode, but everything I read says they all are pretty meh. I long for the days of NCAA Dynasty Mode.
I have put like 90% of my Forza Horizon gameplay in single-player...and it's insanely deep. Like I don't know how to comment on replayability cause there is SO much to do. It's just gotten deeper and deeper with each new game. From that IGN review, FH5 is supposed to much, much bigger than FH4, which was massive. I don't trust CODs that aren't made by Infinity Ward. I also don't trust Sledgehammer Games to make a good COD.
Anyone else playing vanguard? I’m surprised at the visuals on it, I don’t think they’re as good as he last one
It's honestly been somewhat overwhelming since FH3. 1 and 2 I was able to complete everything. Not even close in 3 or 4 (4 was partially because I didn't love the setting).
I jumped back on 4 last week in anticipation of 5's release...after loading up and going to the map, I was like "nope" and uninstalled. I think starting new should be a lot more digestible...at least in the beginning. I didn't love 4's location either.
I'm having a ton of fun with Vanguard. Mechanics are smooth, love the tournament style mode. Y'all are missing out.
