Ha I was only there for a couple hours.

 

A classic

 

I blacked out on these probably 10 years ago at a sport bar in NYC. Don’t think I knew the ABV for the first few

 

They get to you quick. I can only have one.

 

Everyone knows about TG obviously but Lua is a newer, small brewery in Des Moines who also kicks ass. Looking forward to more collaborations from these two.

 

I drank a warm Golden Monkey on a very warm August day in the parking lot at the Meadowlands before the PSU-Syracuse game in 2013.

It was an...experience. I can't even claim I didn't know what I was doing and did it anyway.

 

Sour Monkey is fucking delicious

yo pratyk , you like Greater Good? I've been enjoying their stuff lately. i feel like they cleaned up their act a little bit.

 

Pontoon makes mostly underwhelming beer, but this is delicious

 

Yeah - they've gotten quite a bit better vs. the past year. I wish they brewed some more lower ABV beers. A lot of their beers had started to taste pretty much the same.

i just wrapped up a Smoooth and Pulp Daddy and felt the exact same way.

 

At the in laws. I was handed this. Not bad. The uncle is from St. Louis and brings these back.

 

Schlafly was highly sought after shit in the early days of this thread

 

Good to know. It’s smooth and light. I like it.

 

Not sure if really anyone can get it in here or not but grab Drekker if you ever see it. It’s a great brewery.

Haven't had it, but damn near everything seems to make it to Georgia at some point, so I hope to try some one day.

 

The amount of new beers we’ve been getting in the past 12 months or so is insane.

 

Yep. The only bummer right now is beers like King Sue and Ghost are just sitting on shelves, so we aren't getting any fresh batches.

Yeah, she might’ve had another cocktail or something but that drink is what did her in I have no doubt. Never did anything like that before and I’ve been with her over 15 years. Also who the fuck serves this in pints. Savages.

Huge fan of any Drekker beers I’ve had. Posted a couple in here from time to time. Can get them delivered from a few sites for those where it hasn’t yet made it to just yet

 

I like this more than Stranger Danger, though both are great.

 

This is more subtle/layered; Stranger Danger is a Billboard 100 crowd pleaser. I like SD more because I’m basic.

 

Heading to Athens for a wedding in a couple weeks. Will be flying into Atlanta.


Any places I should check out? Beer bars? Bottle shop? Liquor stores? Creature Comforts is already on the list when I’m in Athens.
