Need to step up my east-west game. Like the opposite of the classic running back that dances around too much.
Is that a western provinces thing maybe? Anecdotally, Ontario people seem to stick to the Caribbean, Florida, and Mexico for their classic warm-weather resort vacation rather than spend the extra effort to go to Hawaii.
Probably. 90% of my Canadian friends are west of Ontario. 100% of them have been to Hawaii multiple times.

I don't understand the longitude in the bottom left corner. If London is 4 hours ahead that would mean I'm 4 degrees west? Miami Beach is 80W and London is 0W, so it's 80 degrees difference. What am I not understanding.
The earth rotates at a constant rate. There are 360 degrees, 24 hours x 60 minutes or 360/1440 minutes. That .25 per minute. Time zones make this a really big area. For example if you’re 240 minutes behind or 60 degrees. But that math doesn’t add up so idk. I’m just making this up as I go.
I'm not sure I ever met a person from Nepali when I lived in Nebraska. I would have guessed German or maybe Sudanese. Creole in Florida makes a ton of sense and would have been my guess.
Stupid California and Pennsylvania technicality. And the Georgia and Virginias. Fuck there are more than I realized.
As a Boykin Spaniel owner, I approve of this map. Also, I had never heard of a Carolina dog until today.
