You have to think this off-season is the time we try to make it happen. Maybe get lucky in the lottery?
Larkin is underrated, everyone he plays with look a lot worse when they aren't with him. Preseason and regular season Raymond in particular looks like a different player when he's with Larkin
Vrana hasn't played yet this year yet still has 2 more goals than Mantha does since the trade, including Mantha's playoff stats
Part time lurker in this thead. Why do we hate Bertuzzi? Just not getting vaxxed or something else as well?
The vax thing for me. As a player, he encompasses so many attributes of Wings fans favorites from the past that he should be this eras McCarty. Instead, he’s a chud that is missing games because he’s the one guy in the league that can’t be bothered to do the right thing, and as a result, we are 0-3 in those games he’s missed.
I follow the NHL as well as you pay attention at your job. I had no idea he was the only player. That makes more sense for the vitriol. I thought we were still team tank for another year though as well? Right, Vin?
Since he’s the only guy the league that made this decision it’s super annoying It’s only 9 games and this team is not going to compete yet so I think it’s just annoying and not a death sentence
I am always willing to help with cultural references, or a Werthers, depending on your current needs.
Nope. At this point I assume there is a family issue, just based on how quickly he left after the Leafs game. Imagine if it’s a family member struggling with Covid? How do you even want to suit up next to Bertuzzi knowing his feelings on the matter. Obviously it’s inappropriate speculation but this is the shit Bertuzzi’s selfishness causes.
Could be a situation where a family member suffered a stroke or something, and is fighting for their life. Who knows.
Totally get it. I didn’t say I was disappointed or angry just that it’s getting to the point where it seems different than the usual reasons for missing time
Berggren with an assist already tonight. Also, Joe getting to center Raymond and Bert now is exciting.
