I am sure this may have been answered already but has this turn been recent and bc of his GF or has he always been this way and hid it real well? talking about his politics bc I always knew he was an arrogant asshole .
I kind of believe him in terms of his politics. I don't think this is a pro-Trump thing, just like it isn't (at least I don't think) for Kyrie. I think they're both narcissistic idiots who think they're a lot smarter than they are and would rather throw on their tin foil hats and believe this shit than follow the herd like the rest of us sheep.
I tend to think that too but the “the left was anti vax when trump was president, and when Biden won they are pro vax” was a weird line
For sure. I might be completely wrong on that because I have no clue. I guess a better way for me to put that is to say I don't think Rodgers' politics made him anti-vaccine. I think Rodgers' personality and need to be a "free thinker" makes him anti-vaccine. The fact that the idiots on the right love "free thinkers" at the moment while the "woke mob" is crushing him means he'll probably go further and further down that road politically going forward. I just kind of doubt it started that way.
Haven’t seen it mentioned, but what about his stint as Jeopardy! host? I would imagine being vaccinated was a prerequisite for being the host. What did he tell the producers of the show? Did they not follow up or just not care? I would be pissed off if I was in any way involved in the show while he was there.
He did those shows in April before the vaccine was even available to people of his age group in many areas. I doubt they were requiring anything more than masks and social distancing.
He has always been weird and questioned a lot of things, even before it was ‘cool to do.’ Generally? Yes, he is pretty damn smart. By book standards and how he uses his words (it’s exactly why he used immunized in the presser, it’s why he is as calculated as he is in almost any presser). Alas, I think that level of narcissism caught up to him this time. The positive test came back, he ‘wasn’t’ prepared for this and the backlash was so quick and sudden that he did something out of character. He tried to justify his position and image quick-like instead of a measured response. The smartest person in the room and I’ll always be one step ahead of them finally didn’t happen. It didn’t happen because he trusted his own brain too much and the science too little. Something microscopic did what defenses, coaches, players, etc. haven’t ever been able to do. They frustrated Aaron Rodgers and forced him out of his shell.
the Right uses that bc of what Kamala said in one interview or debate about not trusting the vaccine getting approved under Trump. but that was right around the time where Trump was trying to meddle with the fda/cdc but it was still a stupid comment that they hold onto. should have answered like Biden ‘if Fauci says it is ok I’ll take it’
I know the line, my point was if Aaron is apolitical, it seems odd for him to use it but I guess idiots grab onto whatever to make themselves feel smarter about their idiotic decisions
Anti-vax was non partisan before Trump. Almost a perfect 50/50 balance between the two sides. Now it’s a tenant of the GOP
If you root for any sport, political party or human you’re going to have to make some sacrifices because everybody sucks
When the guy with brain damage from Louisiana says this about you, while wearing that hat, you know you are an all time idiot.
I know people thought of him as dumb when he was a player but no idea if thats because he was dumb or just southern.
no. Democrats were anti trump and blindly believing him. Biden specifically said he’d trust the experts and science he said he’d have a hard time believing trump because of all his lies.
off topic but this Dov Kleiman guy once said that Jennifer Lawrence has a real restraining order against him
I’ll turn my front porch light on. If you see a house with a porch light on just walk on in, there’s a chance it’s mine and everything will be ok.
The NFL knew he wasn't vaccinated and still violating protocol. What can they really do now? White privilege once again wins the day, what a surprise.
