Kumail absolutely strikes me as the type that would tell the biggest movie studio in the world to fuck off if his character was a shitty stereotype he didn’t like portraying. He genuinely seemed to love making Eternals.
Sprite is a damn good character “You know why I hated living with humans? Because they reminded me of things I didn’t even know I wanted”
The animation and voice acting is incredible. The stories were just ok in my opinion, with 2-3 standouts. Didn’t love it and I think it’s pretty skippable if you’re not into it after the first 2-3
You can definitely spot-watch the enjoyable episodes. There's obviously no tie to each other or the larger universe.
I liked it a lot. First episode is fine but I think you'll know after the second one if it's for you or not. That was the one that hooked me.
At it's worst its fine, at it's best its really good. The Dr. Strange episode is great, and the final three episodes are must-see.
Saw Feige was trending and apparently there are some still shots or something like it leaked about the Spider Man movie. No clue if they're real or not, but be careful. I saw one and couldn't get out soon enough.
finally saw Shang Chi last night and it blew my expectations out of the water. really, really enjoyed it. *dips back out of topic until he can see Eternals*
I really liked Shang Chi up until the end. Then it fell into the old Marvel trope of a cgi filled battle.
Who would put Storm? She's an omega-level mutant with the ability to basically control the entire earth. Comparing her and Gambit is dumb af And that's from someone that loves Gambit.
Thought it was just OK. Like others have said, this would have been better served as a D+ series. Excited to see where they take the story from here.
