Yeah same. I’ll admit the ones that showed up on Twitter really pissed me off but I got a similar vibe. The part where he admitted it’s a risk and said Frost is betting on himself, etc. Just feels like someone got involved.

Dying at all the dorks saying how Frost could have screwed us over for $20MM but instead he took this new contract and bet on himself.

 

Yeah, but at the same time it is honestly a bit surprising that Frost is basically walking away from $8.5M if 2022 goes bad enough for him to be let go afterward.

 

That’s why I almost wonder if someone involved wouldn’t agree to firing him/paying the full buyout. Situation where they told him he could resign and get X or do this restructured deal.

just to reiterate how dumb our fans are, the list of assistants they want is so bad. Have seen multiple Ron Brown for RB coach already, Jake Perez for OC, even saw a Jamey Chadwell for OC, and it was an actual serious post. Fuck I hate our fans.

Apparently Steve Sipple said on a HuskerExtra video show earlier that contact has in fact been made with Jake Peetz and Mickey Joseph.

 

We will get absolutely crushed next week.

Then we play a very bad iowa team and, just to spite us, we will win.

Then the frosti bois will have seven months of telling us how big that win was to set up the momentum for 22, and we were wrong all along, and if we had fired him we wouldn't have gotten that first signature (fraudulent) top 25 win. Because that's what we deserve.

 

I mean why would any recruits or coaches come here?

 

That’s the thing. We have the 70 some rated class NOW, just wait until next year when everyone has one foot in the grave.

Only assistants were getting are guys who got fired for not doing a good job. We’re not poaching anyone that’s worth a crap. I’ve loved to see the spin on that as well. “We’ll ACs are always jumping around”…..yeah to better jobs, not disasters where their coach just got a let us fire you next season contract.
