Copy/paste: For those who rented a VRBO/Air BNB - there's a date for 100% cancellation refund and a date for 50% cancellation refund, it's worth reaching out to your landlord and seeing if they're willing to extend the 100% refund period given the circumstances. You may get lucky, our provider said he's been following it and was willing to offer 100% even last minute. It's worth looking into.
I’m guessing stub hub isn’t going to offer me a refund because it isn’t cancelled. I have Week 2 tickets, but will need to go to Week 1 in October. Not going to blame all this on user Voodoo but I’m expecting him to Venmo me something.
Well, I was going to miss this year for sure. Have gone to 6 of the last 7, but have to go to a wedding on a weekday the week of Coachella so taking time off for that and just started a new job. But if it's October and I can get a cheap re-sale ticket for the second weekend, I might pull the trigger. Especially if they put RATM on Saturday or Sunday...
They did for me when the French air traffic controllers went on strike and I couldn’t fly to Nice. Worth a shot.
"Coachella: 20 Years in the Desert" documentary started streaming on YouTube yesterday. It's a pretty good overview from the early days of Goldenvoice in the '80s/'90s through 2019. Nothing especially juicy since it has a ~100 minute total run time, but good viewing overall. Yesterday would have been RATM :(
We ain't having Roo in September either. And don't look at the weather forecast either. Better than 17 and 19 by a long shot.
Yo. Im interested in going to Coachella next year. I have a couple of questions - I would like to camp. Bonnaroo has group camping which lets solo people find a group to go with. Does Coachella have that? - how hot is it typically?
I don’t know much about the camping bc I always use my parents house but for heat it can be all over the place. one year it was like a high of 70 and cold at night first weekend and 2nd weekend hit 108. I’d say average is probably low to mid 90s during day and nice at night.
Coachella doesn’t have a program that matches individual campers with each other, but there’s nothing stopping you from finding a group on your own. I’ll be there weekend two and you’d be welcome to camp with my group. Disagree with PJP3 on the weather, it can average in the low 90s over a weekend, but it’s typically hot as fuck and closer to 100. The nights are incredible though. Sunset is beautiful and the sunset performances are some of the best of the weekend, and once the sun goes down things become more loose because you’re no longer worrying about the sun trying to kill you.
Don’t count on this being the exact lineup. Frank has already been pushed to 2023 and various other artists have new tours that will preclude them from doing Coachella.
I don’t know, I mean edc Orlando in 2019 had over 100,000 people and I think it’s the same this year. most of the edm stages at hulaween were slammed. You might be right however who knows.
I love that they thought that would be a big draw or exclusive and then SHM announced a tour/other shows.
