Nope. It was better before Spacey had to get cancelled after S5 of course but it's still the best original series Netflix has produced.
Did you start with Mexico? Narcos came out first and has 3 seasons. Its set in Columbia focusing on the Medellin cartel in seasons 1 and 2 then the Cali cartel in season 3. I dont think you need to watch it before mexico to keep up but its also fantastic.
Watched Narcos and wasn’t that impressed with it. Good but definitely not the best season they’ve done.
Got tired of having to turn every time they spoke Spanish to read the subtitles so I re-arranged my office/guest room
I’m still working. When they were still in the office my coworker said he’d watch twitch streams all day. We don’t get phone calls or anything like that.
I guess I may have started on season 2 of Mexico. I remember the creepy guard with the Colombian guy and some of this is seeming familiar. I know I didn’t finish it but I think I started it and just didn’t finish it.
The River Runner -- good 90 minute doc about nuts who do things like try to kayak rivers in Tibet. Camera work is absolutely sick
Finally gave in and gave You a try. 1st season was actually some really entertaining television. First couple episodes of S2 started off kinda meh. are seasons 2 & 3 good (for anyone that enjoyed season 1)?
Anyone checked out Arcane? Saw it was getting rave reviews. Never played League of Legends but apparently you do not need to to enjoy the show. Might check it out after I catch up with a show or two
1, 2, 3 ranked best to worst 3 was pushing the limits of disbelief Spoiler: s3 spoilers loves mom casually lighting a winery on fire? The neighbor kid bleeding out from the head and being alive hours later? FOH [/quote]
The Harder They Fall was fine, but Regina King is my favorite female antagonist that I can remember. She did such a good job imo. I also love Lakeith Stanfield, but the internet tells me he’s a questionable guy.
Kinda racist-ish with a recent tweet as well though I don't really give a shit. I like him too in that movie
Some Free Bird Facts from the movie: Allen Collins had the original idea for the music in high school Started as just a ballad, didn't have the fast rave up part at the end Rave up part was added after playing it live many times and jamming on the end The guitar solos are composed, not improvised The piano player, Billy Powell, was originally a roadie. He said "hey y'all look at the part I made up for Free Bird" and they added him to the band Their first big time tour was opening for the Who. They got 20-30 minutes to open every night. That meant 3 songs, then Free Bird
