As if having people like Jigga as part of your fan base didn't demonstrate enough how trash of a school it really is, having a mini Poulter will really drive home the point even more
Junior Poulter knows nothing of life in Britain, he only knows that swamp life so it's fitting he ends up a Gator
When Rory shows up to a tournament and when Chez Reavie show up they get the same $ if they both go T-10 but anybody who has been to a tournament or watched one knows that the better the field, the better the turnout and ratings. I'm not saying PIP is the answer or that I know the answer, but almost every other sport has guaranteed money for its stars.
For the record I support the plan It's easier for someone else to figure it out and just take the idea. Doing stuff like that proactively would be impossible politically.
I'm guessing all of the pods are going to trash on this. This is not well received based on what I've seen thus far. The tone is WGC 2.0
Watching the Tourist Sauce at The Loop... Given that they played on this special Duel day, wonder if they just had to play to a bunch of jacked up pin placements
I get the argument for star power but honestly couldn’t disagree more. They both play the same place in an event where there is no handicap or advantage for anyone. Why would one get paid more for playing the same?!? That is absolutely crazy. That’s what endorsements are for. If you want more than Chez…just fucking beat him on the course.
Star players also get the Champions Tour to fall back on. Win three or four times and you get a lifetime of subsidized purses from the pga tour.
I got to play the Loop about a week before the NLU crew was up there in July and I thought it was playable with some fun pins and slopes that repelled bad shots but totally fair. Overall I loved the experience playing the Loop in both directions but I can see why some of the guys didn’t like it in tournament conditions (especially with Tron’s horrific short game prowess on firm greens). On their breakdown pod they even complained about the par 3 course at Forest Dunes being too tough so I knew the episode was not going to be a glowing review.
Jones bags $50 off for their Black Friday sale https://www.jonessportsco.com/collections/golf-bags hudson
What makes a golf swing good-looking? Edit: not tour pros but like you get randomly paired with someone and think, hey not bad
If you're looking for a bag that doesn't look like a billboard and has solid construction, it seems to be a great balance of affordability and quality. One reviewer, who I've played golf with said, "Looks new after 2 years, and I don't take care of it at all." If you're interested in Jones Bags, others have recommended looking at https://shaplandbags.com/products/stand-bag-2-2 , https://minimalgolf.com/ , and https://vesselbags.com/collections/golf-stand-bags PGA Tour Players supposedly use some of these on while playing casually. Not sure why we'd give a shit, because someone else is likely carrying them, but still it's an endorsement
Just realized the Houston Open is back at Memorial. Great municipal course if any of are you are ever there.
Very difficult course if played from the tips and in the fall when rough is thicc. I love that track.
What people don’t usually pick up with the naked eye is that I’ve got what Tiger refers to as the “ole” move. Curse of a lot of former junior golfers who did the wrong thing to generate speed while undersized. Basically, right hip fires way too early, you get stuck, two way miss unless your timing is on. Cannot shake it
Hello yes. Almost everyone I play with for the first time comments that I’m a blend of Hideki and Sungjae. I tried working on my takeaway a lot this year but that was throwing me over the top so I kept the inside sweep; the plan is to use our club’s new indoor facilities this winter to try to make some changes and not rely so much on timing
Ty Webb any news on where you're at on our clubs waiting list? As has been rumored for months our GM got the Lost Rail job. They haven't announced who's replacing him yet.
The star players underestimate the fact that the PGA tour is going to subsidize millions of dollars in earnings into their 60s with the Champions Tour which literally no one cares about but still exists
There should be no more than a like 7 senior events a year. USGA, British, PGA of America. Do one a season by the PGA tour.
Nada. Was just talking about it last night at happy hour. Kinda hope they wait until March now. If spring hits and still nothing, I’ll have a friend ask Kubly to bump me.
Is that video slowed down during your backswing as an effect or is that full speed? Now I wanna see everyone’s swing
