i was a little nervous heading into the NE game... obviously more nervous now. i know Chubb is vaccinated. what needs to occur for him to be able to play? a couple of negative tests in a row?
thats kinda my thought, unless this truly is the baker from last year who truly flips a switch when OBJ is gone. I've always thought it was true, but its just so hard to believe that he's that much better without him. random thing: Higgins only ran one route on a passing down last week. what is up with this guy. i feel like every year hes in the doghouse or something.
I don't wish Covid on anyone but if Chubb was going to get it regardless I wish I would have been last week so I didn't have to see him turn into Forrest Gump in person on Sunday
He is though. The sample size is too big to argue otherwise. Idk if we’ll ever truly find out or if anyone really knows. My guess is Baker feels weird pressure when Odells on the field to a. Not fuck up B. Get him the ball but who the hell knows. Odell wants to be on a “playoff contender” mother fucker this team was a legit contender without you.
Interested to see what they do with Ward. I also hope there's a way to keep Njoku but I'm not confident
Read something today that showed 58m could be saved next year by moving on from 6 players. Landry, Conklin, hooper (I think he’s 100% gone), tretter (rumored to be considering retirement), keenum (100% gone imo) and Hunt
We'd still owe a lot of money to Hooper. I hope Landry retires a Brown. I don't know what the plan would be if we moved on from Conklin
Conklin and Hunt IMO need to stay I want Landry to stay as well but at a reasonable number. I think his best days are behind him and can’t keep money tied up on players like that. I expect WR is a big focus in the draft.
I’d like to keep Njoku too. He’s easily been the best out of the 3 TEs when it comes to production and consistency. I’m guessing he will ask for too much money for us to be able to make it work.
I try to keep my OSU loyalties separate from my Browns loyalties but I'd love to have Garrett Wilson or Chris Olave on this team next year.
Would be happy with either of them, but if I had a choice, I think I would take Jameson Williams out of the 3.
I harbor no ill will against Jameson and it's good to see him succeeding but that would be a massive mistake.
Why do you say that? I'm not a bucks fan, so I am not exactly sure his off field personality etc, or what caused his departure. I just like what I see from him on the field.
He's a limited route runner who has been inconsistent getting open and catching the ball throughout his career. Olave and Wilson have been excellent for three years straight.
I forgot Stanton got cut and signed to the practice squad, so actually Janovich will probably be the #2 guy.
I think the Bryan hill guy is a more likely call up since he’s been on and off the practice squad for a while. stanton and janovich in the backfield at the same time… do it
So much Husk with Janovich (former Husk walk-on from Nebraska) and Stanton (former Husk Elite 11 QB).
