Even with this: “The foundation crosses consisted of one-half Bulldog, one-sixth American Bulldog, one-sixth Bullmastiff and one-sixth of other breeds.” she’s a damn baby though and I love her
Haven’t seen them listed in the Denver area too much. It’s mostly bull terriers, American bulldogs, cane corsos (gorgeous fucking dogs), and the occasional German Shepherd, mastiff
You'll have to call most places and ask. That's what I did. Some allow GSD etc in Denver, most don't.
The smile of a dog who in the past 14 months was hospitalized twice and has been on seemingly endless meds and is now recovered and no longer on meds and is so far doing really well without them. Although vet specialist still cautions against ever getting a vaccine again as to not trigger an immune system over-response.
As of now she doesn't get any. The fear is any vaccine will cause her immune system to turn against her basically. It's not a guarantee it happens but it's a clear risk. So she can't be boarded or anything for the rest of her life.
little one enjoying her new yard earlier today. She’s never had a backyard or been able to run off leash so this will be an experience
Made it 9 strong months after this, laid my little guy to rest today. First dog that was really mine from a pup. Such a god damn good dog, going to miss him bad.
Bruce Bowen sorry man, losing them is brutal. Wish I could say something to help, but only time help. RIP to your boy.
Idk i cant imagine something have worse hygiene and foul mannerisms than mine. Just think it would be hilarious seeing a female burp fart for a living etc.
First snow of the season was last night. My 10 year old lab lost his mind this morning. He absolutely loves snow. He got out side and just started sprinting in circles before he hit the ground and started rolling
That’s awesome! I got a Google Photo reminder (“one year ago today you are doing this…”) and it was a photo of our golden (only a cooler of months old at the time) romping in 6 inches of snow. She’s going to absolutely lose it this year although I’ll be good if we don’t get a real snow for a month or so
I have some action photos somewhere of him when he was a puppy in Kansas. We got ~8" in the first storm of the year and he went batshit crazy. Always makes me laugh when those pictures pop up on Facebook memories or my phone.
I may have posted this before. But this is her first Christmas where we got 14 inches. It was incredible
