I swear I saw something on Twitter recently that if Bagley plays more than 40 games, his qualifying offer goes up by ten million.
Big drop of between 1 and 2 if you ask me. Avila has lucked into some solid prospects based on sucking so long and getting a lot of top picks. His signings and most non top of draft picks have been poor. Weaver is too early to tell imo. Holmes too, but early results not great
Last year, Bey averaged 10 FGAs per game. 6.5 of them were 3FGAs. This year, Bey is averaging 14 FGAs per game. 6.1 of them are 3FGAs. This is not a good thing, and it's really annoyed me that the beat writers keep talking about it like it's a positive since the start of summer league. 1 of his 5 FGAs tonight is a 3.
Does this team even run an offense? Most possessions it seems like randomly pass it back and forth a couple times at 3 point line until someone tries to take it solo. That or drive the lane and hope to kick it out to someone who will then miss an open 3 or turn it over trying to pass to them
Who runs the offense. Him or Casey? Ball has not gone through Cade at all in 2nd half. Bey has been a black hole when he gets ball and missing everything at the moment And turnover by Cade as I'm typing
Killian airballed another 5 foot floater tonight Our 1st rd picks last year 83 minutes 11 points (4-25 shooting).
Killian is what he is and Stewart just got killed by fouls tonight so I'm not too worried about him but Bey has reallllly regressed and this team needs his shooting to be even remotely competitive.
It's only been 3 games but Lee is putting up insane numbers in the G League. Bring him up and send Hayes down. Lee is averaging 38.3 points in 38.6 minutes per game in his three games in the G-League so far. He’s also chipping in 8.7 assists and five rebounds, looking like a prime Oscar Robertson (joking) in the process. Lee is shooting 55.7 percent overall and has hit 51.9 percent of his 3-point shots on nine attempts per game.
Team is missing a lot of open shots, but I think the larger problem is the offensive strategy....there really isn't one. A lot of guys playing one on one on offense
I feel like we don’t have anyone operating as a lead guard, so when we get into the half court we just have guys doing whatever they want.
O/u Bey missed shots may be a higher number at the moment Also o/u 0.5 airballed shots within 5 feet of basket for Hayes?
I'm going tonight Over 10.5 missed shots on Bey Over 9.5 missed shots on Cade Under 0.5 air balls inside 5 feet on Killian (because he won't shoot one) Over 30% from 3 (barely) Although I'll probably watch wings Over them tonight, Wings at least have some guys worth watching right now
Hopefully one day Cade can shoot it like Killian. Side note - it bugs me way more than it should that Cade is listed at 6'6. I liked 6'8 a lot more.
