*knocks on all the wood* lots of 2010 this defense is fucking good and I take back my Joe shit talking. Also, its god-damn-stupid the way the league (the packers) have thrown elite middle backers to the curb. Tampa has shown it and Campbell, with a coach that shows it as well, has proven that it might be a counterpoint. You force teams into 3rd and 5+ over and over and it’s worth it. Especially when the guy can cover.
I don’t even know if the packers are elite at either pass coverage (they are very good) or run defense (best in a while) but it seems the defense has forced the issue into knowing almost exactly what the offense is going to do. I can almost always guess if it’s run or pass. If I can do that, well, much smarter people for sure know that.
I won’t because I’m expecting injuries. Hope Gary’s injury isn’t super serious because he is turning into a pro-bowl level player. Gute has his flaws but he isn’t a prisoner of the moment.
I absolutely get it’s essentially a donation to the team. Having said that, I love that people have that choice when they go about stadium renovations instead of imposing some city or state tax to burden the people. If you have any Vikings fans squawking about it, ask them about the shitshow that was the backlash from us bank stadium.
Mild MCL sprain for Jones. 1-2 weeks. Gary says he'll try to place with a brace against the Vikings this week, though I doubt we see him back that soon
I'm still pissed about Milwaukee Gold Package still being a thing when only Brown Co footed the bill for stadium renovations years ago. Hell even Miller Park was financed by the 5 surrounding counties Go Pack Go, No Tax No
In reality Green Bay may be one exception where .005 sales tax for what Lambeau has become is probably money well spent. The stadium has gone from a the green sheet metal exterior to a football mecca.
I think you would be hard pressed to find a stadium anyplace in this country that has done a better job of upgrading over time. You absolutely know you are on hallowed grounds while having all the modern amenities (for the most part). It truly is a bucket list stadium for anybody that enjoys football.
Dude loves Wisconsin Sounds like he’s doing a Skyrim play through on Twitch where he’s trying to collect all the cheese in Skyrim. Spoiler
One of the things me and one of my best friends (also huge Packers fan) continue to talk about is it appears Gute does a phenomenal job of getting good people into the organization. - Aaron Jones - Dillon - Jenkins - Gary Etc. Prestan and Z are other guys like that they brought in. They seem more like a college team and LaFluer seems to cultivate such a good environment by taking bullets.
Was just coming here to mention Bahktiari too. I am sure they are being careful wanting everyone healthy later in the year, but what looks like a setback sucks
Sounds like Tim Boyle might start for the Lions this week. He's been on the IL all season with a broken thumb he got in the last preseason game, but Goff is banged up and also sucks. Not sure any of you care. Just remember reading he had a following in your fan base for a minute the last year or two.
I would legit not be shocked if he looks better than Goff. Him & Williams were really well received during their time here.
It actually is a thing evidently. Called Covid toe. https://www.webmd.com/lung/what-are-covid-toes TMYK
fuck these injuries so much a mildly healthy Pack team is a top 2-3 team in the league and we can't even manage to go a game without a huge injury plus whatever the hell is going on with Bakh
