Hes getting better. Imagine if he was allowed to get all the reps in preseason with the starting unit.
Jenkins could return soon. If that's the case I'm guessing Peters moves into a G spot and Daniels back to center. Offensive line could be much improved and maybe we don't get Fields killed
This feels like a win, because momentum is getting close to a tipping point for getting Nagy fired and there is no god...
They’re building in the excuses for the McCaskeys to keep them around. “This is an 11 win team if we’re fully healthy!!!”
The only media really isn't pushing this narrative and it may be because the city is more focused on the development of Fields and thinking a house cleaning is a given. But it sure as fuck doesn't feel like there is any pressure right now to remove Nagy or Pace.
For fucks sake, I hope we never extend Fields because anytime this fucking franchise gives someone some money they turn into an injury riddled useless waste.
Mack, Hicks, Robinson, Trevathon, Graham, Foles, Jackson, plus the dead cap money is almost $90 million of the $180 total of the whole damn team. Half the fucking salary cap on the fucking sideline (or opponents sideline). Not to mention the draft capital wasted on these losers.
I wouldn’t call them losers to their face, that’s for sure. But neither of their bodies could hold up to their contracts. Mack, Hicks, Goldman, Quinn, Nichols. We have the most expensive DL around and they’ve played together a total of what? Like 4 games the last 2 years. I don’t blame them at all, I blame Pace for investing in defensive lineman freaks on the wrong side of 30.
As someone who was a fairly engaged Bears fan during Trestmans disastrous tenure, I feel like the football universe is being brought back to balance in Columbus right now.
This has all the makings of a trace Mcsorely game winning drive after replacing Huntley… I’m such a glutton for pain that that’s where my brain immediately went
