Just started Survivor Series to finish off 1987. So far two of my favorite matches were from Saturday Night's Main Event XIII that aired the same weekend -- Bret Hart v Macho Man (a strong contender for the best match across everything watched so far) and Bam Bam Bigelow v Hercules. Hulk Hogan v Paul Orndorff in a cage match on SNME eearlier in '87 is also up there.
Watching NXT for the first time since the change. Not impressed. These guys need to be in the performance center. Not on tv.
The most annoying thing to me about the brand battle is that it’s not actually treated like they are against each other. You can’t have your Raw announce team be like “Yay Raw, Boo Smackdown” and then do a promo for this weeks smackdown. It doesn’t make sense. At least pretend to have Smackdown “buy ad space” in their competitors show to promote their show. It really wouldn’t be hard
None of the suggestions for improvement in WWE ever seem hard. I would guess all the suggestions we make amongst us are also being pitched to Vince and he just doesn't give enough fucks to make sure the small details are ironed out. That or the people he hired around him just fucking suck at the job tasked of them. Either way its a huge failure of WWE and its been the case for years. Shit they even acknowledged it by hiring Bruce and Eric. And that ended up being a nothing burger.
Punk going to put over MJF and Danielson going to put over Hangman and cement both of those guys as superstars
If Dynamite somehow ends with The Briscoes squaring off with Santana and Ortiz, I don’t even know what I’ll do with my hands.
Don’t like Jay jobbing clean in the first match. Time limit draw would have still kept Sammy strong for sticking the whole time with damaged ribs
He has made the dumb diamond ring manage to stay apart of his gimmick for like two years, him with an actual belt is going to be fantastic.
If Punk doesn't hit the uno reverse card and call MJF "Midwell" in at least one promo in this program I'm going to be disappointed.
