State of Play tomorrow at 5PM EST, supposed to focus on 3rd party titles. I'm jazzed for it because its already confirmed that Little Devil Inside will be featured, now if we get Hogwart's Legacy I will be a happy man.
any expectation that we will be able to walk into a store and buy a PS5 at some point in our lifetime?
Well they have had some in store drops at big city game stops, but probably not for at least Another year
Big fan of Guardians of the Galaxy through 3 chapters. The audio and visuals are top notch, writing is really good, and the chemisty between the characters is on par with the movies. Definitely one of my biggest surprises of the year.
Returnal with a save feature will hopefully get more to give it a chance. Best release by far this generation, and easily my GotY. Even though I'm not a fan of the $70 price tag, (I understand the reasoning for it, though) this game is worth every bit of that. First true next gen experience of this gen.
Really hope the rumor about Kingdoms of Amular: Re-reckoning being on of the PS+ games for November is true. Never finished it way back when, and it didn't look like a good enough upgrade to pay full price for.
It was mostly underwhelming for me, but I know for some folks it was good. New King of Fighters and Star Ocean games announced, two big franchises with lots of fans. New Five Nights at Freddy's coming to PS4/PS5 in December. Little Devil Inside got a 5-minute gameplay showoff, looks different from what I was picturing but will still play, looks fun. No release date yet which surprised me. Death's Door looks fun, it's been out since July on PC and is well regarded. Few other announcements, like a new kart racer and a weird but interesting multiplayer melee combat looking thing. Well fuck. Turned on my ps5 tonight...logo shows up...then just black screen. Boot up safe mode (which works) try a couple different settings. Nothing works short of me having to hard reset the thing. Which I can't remember if my games are cloud saved which would be an issue.
Update: had to do a hard reset to the ps5 but it works. Thankfully I did have cloud saves on. Bit of a pain to reinstall all of the games but all in all at least it's back up and running
Hate that I'm not more excited about this and the GTA Remaster, but RDR2 and GTAV had some of the most dated controls when they originally released so now they're fucking ancient. Not sure why updating the old ones to the newer just as shitty controls is even an upgrade. I'd rather them pass it off to somebody for a full on remake one at a time. They'd still probably all be released by the time GTA 6 comes around.
If its anything like RDR2 I may hate GTA6 if they make me take showers and eat regular meals or do useless chores.
How often do people take photos in games? The only times I've done it is when I get a trophy. Ghost of Tsushima had me think about taking a photo, but idk what I'd even do with it.
I loved that game. I bought it when it was remastered about a year ago and I hope it's free so more people can play and enjoy it.
"You forgot to write mustard on your grocery list. You must find the mustard using these 3 clues. Then come back and make your sandwich" (leaves to get mustard) (dies)
I almost never do, but I have recently a few times (rift apart, Guardians, and Tales of Arise). It'd be nice if we could change the background on PS5, then it would be a little more useful. Also, thought it was weird they spent a large part of that trailer on photo mods instead of most the focus being on the new save function.
I myself don't but there are entire Reddit pages dedicated to it and what not. Some people are big into it.
Just used my Amazon sub on BlazingRebel22. My wife keeps asking me to stream on twitch. I don't think she realizes that it takes a lot of work. It's not just me gaming.
I appreciate that my dude sorry been a crazy week. Yeah Twitch is moving away from just gaming unless you are a pro just gaming won't cut it anymore. You have to produce your own content as well and have major viewer interaction.
that looks pretty incredible. Also looks like a re-skinned Bloodborne done in 2021, which is by no means a bad thing. Neowiz is very quietly turning into a big deal
Yep, looks exactly like I'd expect Bloodborne to look if it was developed today. I'm definitely paying attention now. I'm not sure that I've ever played a neowiz game, though.
I been playing the Forrest and I think I like it. Internet is absolute junk currently so maybe can’t do multiplayer anything
We were playing Hazard Zone in BF2042 and got to talking about Hunt. Said next time it goes on sale we are snagging it then boom, on sale.
I got one from Target drop this morning! Now I wish I hadn't paid for a year of Walmart+ for their Monday drop. Oh well worth it and might see if I can grab one from Walmart for BIL.
Unfamiliar with Walmart+, and how that works with their Monday drop. Care to elaborate? Would love to finally get a PS5.
Walmart+ subscribers get early access to Black Friday deals, including PS5 which will go on sale to plus subscribers at 4pm on Monday. You must have the paid version of plus and not the free trial though. You can go ahead and skip free trial by clicking "Start paid membership" option on your profile page since it won't let you sign up without trial initially. I did full year because Amex was offering half off and can get the difference and then some on gas alone.
Is it assumed that boys won’t eat up all the inventory, due to needing a subscription? Or is that still likely to happen, and all stock will be gone by 4:01pm? Sorry, I’m a huge cynic on all of this after having zero success for so long.
