Is Stefanski a fucking idiot? Lions score to get back in it Next drive is 3 passes with Chubb on the bench I’m sure his sheet says rest Chubb on 3rd possession of the 3rd quarter or some dumb shit but manage the game you fucking idiot.
Baker can barely walk and not only will he not pull him, he's calling 3 straight passes, including a fucking bootleg.
So on Baker clearly hurt, hasn’t seen the field well all day and has been inaccurate why is he still playing? what is Stefanski doing????
I’m out on him too. Have been for most of this season. at this point it’s on the coaching staff and doctors for not saying enough is enough. Not only is he visibly hurt, but his play is awful. this front office has a lot of difficult and fascinating decisions to make this offseason. I like berry…. Let’s see how he handles this.
He's had a garbage line/running game since the Super Bowl. I'd be willing to give him a shot and if it doesn't work out, draft one in '23.
Hot take Next season is Baker and Stefanski’s last year in Celevand. Think Stefanski is being exposed now as a bad manager — he’s an OC not a leader.
I disagree on Stefanski. I think he's having some struggles but considering the injuries and poor QB play I think he's still doing a decent job. He'll need to continue to grow though
I could be completely wrong here, but I see stefanski getting guys wide open a lot and 6 just not hitting them. Jake Burns said something in last night's podcast that hints that something really weird is going on with Baker continuing to get playing time. He hinted that it might not fully be Stefanski's call to continue putting baker out there, or not. i'm going to give Stefanski the benefit of the doubt here. He's giving Baker opportunities and he's just not hitting them. edited this because i didn't finish my thoughts before hitting post. lolol
I'll take Mayfield in Indy- trade him to the Colts and put him in the dome. I still believe in the dude You can have Wentz and a 2nd
I assume they want to see him play so they can make the best decision on how to go forward at the position.
Ah. my hunch is Haslem, Berry, Stefanski want to win and make it the to playoffs two years in a row. And will play whatever players give the best chance. edit: I mean, I fucking hope that is the case
Browns point totals the last 6 games: 14 17 10 41 7 13 Other than the 41 point explosion against Cincy, that is 5 games averaging 12.2 points per game. Scary.
This shit show that has developed is ultimately on Stefanski. His play calling largely sucks, he keeps rolling an obviously injured Baker out there, and the team has no discipline. Baker hasn’t regressed, but a full body cast wouldn’t be out of line for as banged up as he is. So third and one against the lions in the red zone with Chubb available? Sure, let’s throw a pass. Drops, presnap penalties, holding calls, a physically broken qb playing with a proven $7m backup on the bench and a sieve for a defense. That’s not on Baker, that’s stefanski and woods.
I like Stefanski and think he's a good play caller. I think he's hamstrung by Baker being banged up but also Baker's inability to be effective under center in the pocket.
