sounds like something they should've ran on I have no idea if they did or not, I just assume they didn't since they are Dems
Dems inability or unwillingness to call out the bullshit culture wars is amazing. Elizabeth Warren is the only person I have ever seen do it.
NYT interview with AOC. She talked about how you can’t over promise and under deliver, especially to young voters. She also mentioned how they were told to stay home, and not involve themselves in Va and then got blamed for the loss.
^ "Stanley S. Hubbard, a billionaire Republican donor, wrote his first check to Ms. Sinema in September and said that he was considering doing the same for Mr. Manchin because of their efforts to trim the sails of the Democrats’ agenda. “Those are two good people — Manchin and Sinema — and I think we need more of those in the Democratic Party,” he said. "Cash has also poured in for Mr. Manchin and Ms. Sinema from political action committees and donors linked to the finance and pharmaceutical industries, which opposed proposals initially included in the domestic policy bill that the lawmakers helped scale back, including changes to Medicare and the tax-rate increases." https://archive.md/0Z0uw
Jesus. The martyrdom for this pitiful sack of shit is sickening. Conservatives are the fucking worst.
“I also believe people should arm themselves with assault rifles so they can cross state lines to kill people that might damage someone else’s property.”
Is posting Glenn tweets more or less pointless than tagging posters you don’t agree with? What a fucking failure by society for Desantis to still be in office after how he handled covid.
Who’s the woman in VA that blamed 2020 losses on defund the police, Spamberger? To act like you cannot run a campaign that appeals to both young ppl and centrist older ppl is disingenuous. So I guess the hell with the VA Dems.
Yes, formerly employed by the CIA. Just an absolute piece of shit that honestly thinks she's not the problem with the party's appeal to people broadly.
If people can be convinced that fascism is good and vaccines are bad, I’m relatively certain you convince Midwesterners or rural Virginians that insulin should be free. It’s the desire to.
Kyle Rittenhouse is officially canceled. Because he isn't violent enough in his rhetoric for the fascist.
The argument for him is - He's taken a full employment approach and he's a republican so that gives the fed cover for the full employment approach That's great an all, but he has also quietly deregulated so many things in the financial sector that dont make big news, but will have a big (negative) impact on the economy. Brainard also would take a full employment approach while not succumbing to the deregulation push. Am I missing something here?
the deregulation aspect isn't as cut and dry as you make it imo and most the economist types who i follow, who are turbo progressives, haven't really been bothered by much of it the upside of the markets trust in Powell while he's carrying out a pretty wild approach is invaluable for the economy and outweighs the rest by several factors, market would have pulled back with Brainard or someone else getting the chair due to fears of late rate actions potentially stunting the recovery
i'll add i know nearly nothing about that end of the Feds regulatory actions but just going off what ideological neighbors say on the issue
IMO it's fairly cut and dry. Im sure we follow a lot of the same. They're treating the regs as a sacraficial lamb to the full employment. If you HAVE to pick one, it's obviously full employment. I see it as false dilemma though. Also a bit of a black pill discussion that an argument for keeping someone isnt policy related, but that they're trusted by the market because he does things that protect the top of the market, while making everyone else vulnerable.
Mix beerleagueman I'm really happy the Sentinal is profiling and giving a voice to literal fascists. Look at this fucking picture they're using I fucking hate this country and hate the media even more. https://www.orlandosentinel.com/pol...0211120-ockegqbyqbhfrihpyz27ixyfc4-story.html
Would be a shame if someone in the free state of FL felt threatened by him and took him out. A real shame.
Article https://archive.md/PVEMZ#selection-1693.1-1693.433 Some of the gatherings are “Madison meet ups” where they read aloud from the Constitution and the Declaration of Independence. The meetings start with the Pledge of Allegiance and a prayer and include a review of the local school board’s agendas. The group’s philosophy is proudly proclaimed on signature navy Moms for Liberty t-shirts that have become a fixture at school board meetings — “We do not co-parent with the government.”
The front page of the newspaper is literally those pieces of shit with big grinning smiles like they're being celebrated. That's how I even found out about this shit. Pisses me off man. Found a picture of the front page
