I don’t feel it was enough. In fairness though, our defense got gashed by a team that had two plays and half of those were a midget running between the guard and tackle. Just a pathetic performance.
Haven’t read the article yet, but Doug Fisher was one of my profs in j school. He’s the one that teaches you how to be a hard ass journalist
I'm proud of the student journalists for holding the admin accountable. I agree the slow moving/nonexistent firing process for sexual harassers and abusers is unacceptable. I was disappointed by the initial results of the historic commission on renaming buildings and whatnot, but I haven't lost hope there. That group produced a 300 page document and most of them are still right here on campus. Actions need to be taken, but they are in the queue ready to go when the tide changes a little bit. The group did a good job -- this wouldn't be some wholesale whitewashing of the campus. The hollow efforts towards "diversity and inclusion" are disappointing. I'm glad something is being done, but it's frustrating if it's a half measure. I still have to complete hours of training modules, yet no one is happy. I don't feel like Pastides is a bad guy -- I feel like he's been one of the best leaders at USC -- but I don't know him personally. They just throw his name on stuff though because he's at the top, when really his hands are largely tied by the BoT. I think Harris could/would kick ass if he had a different BoT and State House to deal with.
It's a helpless feeling. They're called out by newspapers, alumni, the public, whoever. Nothing changes
Our MBB team would be a lot better if they didn't turn it over so much. I guess that's to be expected when you find 10 guys and stick them together for a year
Should’ve probably lost ECU, Vandy, and Auburn. Should’ve won UK and Mizzou. We’re 6-5 by luck, better play, effort, and a bunch of other reasons. I’m going to just try and enjoy it. Hope we play well next week.
Give me a packed out Willy-B, 2001 intro, 80k collectively losing their minds to Sandstorm before kickoff, and then at least one exciting quarter of football and I’ll be satisfied. Still not ever going back to Shreveport or Birmingham
Season takes on a whole new vibe if we go 7-5. We’ll be an underdog at home. Much better bowl options at 7-5 too. We typically shit the bed after a big win so no expectations but all aspects of our program change with a win over our instate rival which has dominated us lately. I know - captain obvious but wanted to say it.
I would like to be the first to say that we will be lucky to keep it within 20 points of our vastly superior instate rivals. We are so fucked.
Yea Clemson’s defense is going to choke our offense out in the first round. It’s going to be a boring, ugly game
I just hope Satterfield doesn’t get Z. White killed by giving him the same workload he gave him last night.
Terrible. I would like to see the area for myself. Supposedly there's a 6 foot fence with barbed wire, but whatever's down there is clearly not enough
Do they think they were cutting through there to go to Olympia/Granby or something…or like body was dumped there?
That route doesn't even make sense. Olympia Ave is more of a straight shot from J's than cutting through the quarry.
