Wife is looking for a new vacuum for the house, says she doesn't like our Dyson anymore . Anything you or your wife like? Doesn't have to be cordless, however I prefer that. or anyone have this one? https://www.target.com/p/shark-navigator-powered-lift-away-upright-vacuum-nv586/-/A-23969746
Had a smoke detector start low batt chirping. Decided to replace them all. Just a friendly reminder to maintain yours.
Cordless dyson checking in. Side note I thought this was going to be a complete waste of money but this fabric shaver/de-piller dealio is actually awesome.
She ordered that Shark I linked above. I’m still gonna use the Dyson out of spite and plus I’m not fucking with cords.
Just replaced ours recently. Think they have a 10 year life span for the most part and ours were past that.
One hires an installer because he has way too many irons in the fire and can make twice as much working in the same amount of time that it takes to install it.
Small but beachfront location and great view, just didn't like the place enough to get into the bidding war that the sellers wanted. And yes the TV was mounted too high on the wall
Anyone have experience with building a firepit? Thinking about buying a fire ring and trying to make a smokeless version but unsure if the amount of work will be worth it over going with a basic setup.
Saw this last week and it’s still 50/50 if we build this fire pit at my brothers lake house this weekend.
This is the exact video I watched. I’m skeptical how well it would work vs. just digging a hole and setting up stones.
5 years ago i bought one of these with my first bonus check. Best thing I’ve ever done to tidy up the place. funny story, I couldn’t get it to crank two weeks ago. I replaced the plug, always use ethanol free, use it every other week so it never just sits, and I ran through flooded engine protocols. Still no work. I dropped it off begrudgingly at my local small engine guy. I walk in to pick it up and the woman was just grinning at me. “I’ve been so excited for you to come back in, this was a first for us. Your exhaust was totally clogged with inch worms” the guy who repaired it came out and was laughing about how it was a first for him. He said everything else was perfect and it was basically bulletproof. Compression was still excellent.
I have thought about doing this and my neighbor has done the exact same and has a sick privacy hedge now, but it gives me anxiety knowing you have to bust out the ladder to top it off every few months.
I checked on camelcamelcamel and prices didn't seem too fishy but who knows. yolo. wife's friend had a large amount of cash stolen (like enough to buy a new vehicle) from their home and they had no security system...so now we need one.
I am just messing. It is something I have seen circulating the past week and is slightly funny. I am sure for most places the deals are there but for some places, probably accurate.
I am just confused why the meme uses imagery from rip off epic braveheart scene instead of actual epic braveheart scene
I like people who are attached to the idea because they “don’t like the smell of smoke”. Just because you can’t see the smoke doesn’t mean you’re going to still smell like your fabric softener.
I have seen it with both the Braveheart pics and the ones I posted. Just pulled the first one of of google image search available.
Blew my mind too. Basically was a month’s cash flow for their restaurant/rentals. Restaurant is right next to a bank I don’t know why they wouldn’t drop it off daily. I don’t want to blame a victim but there’s some common sense things to do to lower the risk.
So it had to have been someone that works/worked for them. Should be easy to find out, assuming they don't already know
i guess it depends on the plant and the location, but i'm not sure that topping necessarily needs to be done at all. if you need to top it so frequently its probably the wrong plant for that location. one thing i keep reading/hearing from arboretum ppl is to never believe the nursery's numbers about how big a plant will get. they underestimate, make stuff up, etc i remember growing up we would have to top a hedge of photinias a few times a year and it was miserable, so yeah i would just cut it down if that was a genuine requirement. its possible your neighbor is just weird; mine sure are.
this list was compiled for the western part of the NC triangle so it should probably work in the piedmont of AL/GA/SC/NC/VA
