Will be pretty sweet when chuds like that start open carrying to school board/county commission type meetings.
Yep, that was so jarring for me to see. Is tucker Carlson editing the paper???? Just out here slapping nazis with smiling faces on the front page
Mike Bianchi fucking sucks but he’s not out celebrating and profiling actual nazis so I’ll give him a pass Although I would 100% not be surprised if he was a big Fox News guy
He's always been a cartoon character and I think he's self aware of it. So he is what he is and at the end of the day he's just bantering about sports in a very non-serious way. So whatever. this is in contrast to other Florida sports writers such as Omar Kelly and Armando Selgeuro (granted Armando recently left) who took themselves WAYYYY too seriously and are completely self-unaware.
Bianchi is ok if you never take him seriously and I could be wrong but he seems like a good guy in real life . he has given hints before where I don’t think he is a Far Right type
The average usage is ~8M barrels a day. So ~6 days, first of all, and any relief is a good thing, plus other nations easing their demand. At least the Biden “I did that” stickers will still be there when we drop back below $3 average nationwide.
In 2020, the United States consumed an average of about 18.19 million barrels of petroleum per day, or a total of about 6.66 billion barrels of petroleum. This was the lowest level of annual consumption since 1995. The drop in consumption in 2020 from 2019 was the largest recorded annual decline in U.S. petroleum demand. The decrease was largely the result of the global response to the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic. Source: https://www.eia.gov/tools/faqs/faq.php?id=33&t=6
If fuel would have stayed at $4-5/gallon that it was in 2008 we'd be a hell of a lot better off as a country/world. https://money.cnn.com/2008/06/08/news/economy/gas_prices/
Imagine the alternative fuel innovation in the last 13 years if everybody would have had to endure that shit.
I understand that people are struggling, but it's a bit difficult for me to empathize with the chuds complaining about gas prices while driving a $55,000 truck at the bottom of the fuel efficiency standards. Non-chuds are allowed to complain as much as they want though.
i always wonder where we'd be if we took even 10, hell 1% of the historical subsidies for oil and gas and invested those into R&D on alternative fuels throughout the last 30 years
I just finished the documentary on HBO about January 6th. Man that still really pisses me off. I was rooting for a dragon to show up out of nowhere and scorch those motherfuckers.
