Leach’s staff over a couple years had Dykes, Aranda, Littrell, Holgo, Dennis Simmons, Riley as a GA, and Kliff and Cumbie as QBs. We basically run college football now. big time. also, for shits and giggles I looked them up, ICC actually isn't doing bad these days. they went 8-2 in 2019 and 8-2 this year and were 5th in the country until they lost in the conference POs (top 4 teams go to the title). they seemed to have really turned that program around even long after jettisoning Brown.
i think we're all expecting him to get a head coaching job i'm surprised he can't do better than akron tbh but then not many jobs in the midwest/northeast opened up. Duke should look at him if Chadwell isn't interested.
Two years is all we expected out of him. Any more would be a bonus. Sucks he couldn’t work with a competent QB.
I mean, OK, but it feels like that last part would be a stretch about any program other than Baylor, who have literally attempted to hide serious crimes on multiple occasions.
FWIW if you want some good insight on the LSU situation from a boots on the ground angle. I highly recommend listening to the Geaux247 pod. Shea Dixon has some interesting comments. Shea essentially said no one knows anything and the Riley thing was just a rumor that took off because everyone, including the higher-ups and boosters, just wants to know so bad and has been waiting for 6 weeks at this point. Shea also said that he talked to BJ Ojalari and that Scott Woodward has been telling all the young guys, or the other guys that are going to be back next season, including recruits, that they're really going to love the new coach.
“You guys would love my girlfriend. She goes to another school so you don’t know her and will probably never meet her, but she is so cool and SUPER hot!”
