Yup; she did it a bit in college and picked it up again around the time we started dating. I was pretty sure I was going to jail since "I have lots of very large bruises" and "I started dating someone" overlapped pretty closely.

I've never worn a wedding ring and she's now mentioned it several times - so basically I have to pick out my own wedding ring and that's her gift. Got her a watch but she already knows about it since she can see our account and picked it out herself so not much of a suspense factor there.

Same - she only mentions it if we're seeing family or at an important meeting, etc. Otherwise don't think she cares.

My real wedding ring I got on Amazon for like $20. Stopped wearing it awhile ago. Wife was never thrilled about it but never made a huge fuss. Finally got a silicon ring and don't mind it at all.

Had our first kid in July. So I got her a Kodak mini printer for all the pictures she takes. I then bought a custom photo book on Etsy with our kids name on it. Still deciding on what else to get her.

Yea I was feeling pretty good about the gift that’s why I had to share. Even put a couple pics in the book to start it to really get the tears flowing.
She’ll get a Shutterfly calendar for 2022 filled with pictures of us and the kid from 2021 like every year, and she’ll love it. I’ll ask her to not spend any of my money on stuff for me and she will ignore it like every year, I will not love it.
