1962ish Gibson ES-335. In need of a lot of TLC and currently waiting to hear back from Gibson from their Repair/Restoration shop. gonna cost a couple grand to get it right but it'll be worth around 10k when its finished
Probably. Hence the “he’ll be back”. Person just needs the $600 and has every intention of coming back for his car.
Purchased this today. Breitling Chronomat Flying Fish. No Box/Papers and is light on Links. not really sure where we're gonna price it
This reminds me that my grandmother gave me and my older brother sealed cans of random coins when we born. Random things like Susan b Anthony dollars, Buffalo nickels, etc. I wonder if any of them are actually worth much now.
any dime, quarter, half dollar and dollar coin 1964 and before are 90% silver. buffalo nickels arent worth anything
I wouldnt call it that. Its not a Patek. but it is hand crafted and put together using 100's of individual parts. by some of the best in the world. Making a watch is very labor intensive and the Swiss arent cheap
The bartender at a place I eat regularly day timed as the head meter maid for my city. Every day he emptied all the meters and processed the count. He would swap any pre 1964 coins with same value but post 1964. He gave himself an very nice retirement gift on the silver value he collected over the years.
A custom shop Gibson of that era would run $5k and up. That's where they basically make a new guitar with 50s/60s era specs and techniques and they age it. You may know that but ones that are essentially counterfeits made by Gibson can go for 10k
And we have another guitar coming out for sale. ESP LTD Deluxe EC-1000 retail is $1k pawned for $275 and will sell for in the ballpark of $500
Aye-yo Nole0515: A) You sell that PS3 yet? 2) Is it backwards compatible D) Will you take a mouthy 4.5 year old in trade?

Have you ever knowingly bought a haunted item? How do you value something like that? Just based on the physical item itself or do you have to call an expert in ghosts/spirits?
