They've finally done it. It's been about a month since I've watched any Raw or Smackdown. I still read results and listen to podcasts (SNME, Post), but they've broken me. It's unreal how unwatchable Raw especially is right now. I'll probably watch a touch more when Rumble comes around, but man that product stinks. Really hoping Steen goes to AEW. Outside of him, there's just a handful left I would care about. Styles, what Nakamura used to be, Big E, Bliss, Walter, I think that's it? I went through the roster to be fair. Weird to see Coachman and Paige on the active roster.

 

What broke you last night?

 

I didn't watch. It's unwatchable.

 

Oh I assumed something on the show last night did it. It’s weird that you made that comment because RAW has been decent since SS

 

Styles has been on of my all time favorites and it’s really sad how they are wasting his last couple of good years he has left.

 

He was battling injuries so the put him in a tag. It’s breaking up now so he will go back to the single ranks soon. Looking forward to him and E.

 

I think part of what makes WWE unwatchable for me is that it is so rehearsed and sterile that it just seems fake. I can't suspend my disbelief to make me forget what I am watching is fake because everything is overly scripted and the lighting and camera cuts they use are way overdone.

 

Good news. I will start watching his segments again.

 

WWE sucks but don't act like you all aren't going to watch the Royal Rumble.

I'll watch the Rumble and Wrestlemania. Didn't watch Summerslam or SS this year for the first time that I can remember.

I didn't this year. I'd have to go check the card but I don't think I did in 2020 either. So I don't think so.


Sometimes I feel like I'm the only person ITT who actually fully stopped supporting WWE.

 

I'm 100% checked out on WWE at this point.

Raw is 3 hours of torture. Can't stand Roman Reigns as a face or a heel if he owns the place or if he's for real. Can't do it Monday's or Tuesday's or anywhere.

I have no idea who the fuck 75% of the NXT roster is.

I'm just not what they're targeting as a viewer.

Even when I have no idea what the current storylines are, I still watch the rumble because I enjoy the surprise old dudes coming out for a bit

 

I rarely watch. I usually scroll Reddit and see the highlights and finishes to the matches I care about. Aside from that I don’t bother really. I may turn it on if there is just nothing else on.

 

So how long until KOR shows up in AEW and does he join Cole and the Bucks or does he reunite with Fish and give the division another ass kicking tag team. We might actually get Bucks vs Briscoes vs Reddragon in AEW which would be something

 

I think they are setting up a Fish and KOR reunion. Cole left Fish in the middle of the match and retreated with the Bucks. I think tensions boil over at Winter is Coming and Cole and the Bucks beatdown Fish with KOR making the save.

I hate the Bucks so much.
Cody is awful but it is always crash tv anytime he or Brandi is on, so I don't mind it.

 

this version of the Bucks has actually been my favorite tbh

 

All of their shit is painfully unfunny and their tag matches are a fucking mess.

 

They need to get Cole away from their goofy asses ASAP but I know that this is what he likes but its killing him.

 

well yeah that's the point, they're great at being obnoxious, I realize it's probably a fine line though because Omega basically had go away heat for me, think the Bucks just wear it more naturally

also agree on their matches but typically unless it's something I'm particularly interested in, I'm only half watching the non-character driven segments on Dynamite/Rampage, guessing that helps keep things fresh for ppv's and such

 

I’m always weirded out by them never following tag rules but always get the referee to pay attention to their opponents not following tag rules.

Such a disconnect

The only part of their match i enjoyed was Trent’s mom showing up in the car to drop him off for his return. So Long Island.

 

Rick Knox is the worst ref of all time.

 

It's not obnoxious though. MJF is obnoxious. They're just not funny and all their shit is a huge self-indulgent circle jerk. I'm at the point where if it weren't for just waiting to see Adam Cole finally liberate himself from their bullshit they'd be getting the fast forward treatment.

 

At this point I also wish they'd take Cody off TV just to give Arn Anderson an excuse to stop hilariously embarrassing himself once a month.

in my opinion what they're doing as over the top heels is working, it's basically all they can do effectively as characters, but that's neither here nor there

edit: you'll also have to keep in mind that I only started watching again when Punk came back so I missed most of the run with Omega/Bucks in the spotlight

 

You can't just say they're good heels if people hate them so much they turn the TV off.

That's decidedly NOT good.
