I just know there's going to be some stupid "anti-woke" pushback whenever they finally do a live action Miles Morales movie and it's going to be infuriatingly stupid.
having to explain Miles to my boomer father when the video game came out was torture when I was home for Christmas last year “so even spider man has to be black now?” smh
Idk, how many of these chuds are still going to be alive by that time? They’re not living in fear, but they sure are dying full of it, gasping for prayers.
Yeah, it wasnt a banner movie for strange. Peter using 10th grade geometry on the fly to trap Strange for 12 hours in his own dimensional sandbox adds to suspension of disbelief.
I was also one of those people that would have stormed out of the theater if they had Ned kiss MJ in the last diner scene
Just saw it pro: Dafoe rocks still Con: Don’t think I’ll see it again, just felt largely forgettable and a cash grab
Spidy 2 & 3: Who are the avengers? So before that comment the assumed putting a shield of the statue of liberty was a normal thing to do?
They just got there from a different universe so I think it’s understandable they wouldn’t know who they were or anything about the shield or why it was there and maybe they hadn’t even seen it.
I thought that was an attempt at “powering up” spidey. If he can hang with Strange then he has to be approaching that top tier of powerful avengers. But then Mcguire universe Doc Oc wiping the floor with Spidey in the stark suit seemed off.
I felt like a lot of the movie was spidey running away from/avoiding the villains. I was hoping for some badass fighting when the spideys were together and it just didn’t happen.
F dat hoe (respectfully of course). My boy Ned was about to slay his way across Europe until that little poochie bear jezebel temptress ruined him.
The Garfield/Zendaya scene is awesome, but bigger theater reactions were: - Thor's entrances in IW and Ragnarok - Hulk punching the Leviathan that led into the Avengers forming the circle with the theme hitting - Endgame has like 3 of them with Cap/Mjolnir, On Your Left, and Stark stealing the stones from Thanos. Cap catching Proxima Midnight's spear would've got a huge reaction if they didn't spoil it in the trailer.
Agreed on Cap/Proxima. They should have 100% kept that shit locked down. Had I not known it was coming, I might have literally exploded in the theater.
they showed the AMBULANCE trailer before the movie here not only is it gonna be terrible. it also stars J*** G********* so thats a double no for me, dawg
I had to explain to my boys about Jake almost replacing Toby when Toby threw his back out during the second movie.
I really enjoyed some of the throwbacks/Easter eggs I’m something of a scientist Late night poker I know there were some others
A few days of digesting the movie, and I still have it solidly behind Endgame, IW, Ragnarok, GOTG and Winter Soldier at the least. Into the Spider-Verse is still easily the best Spidey movie IMO.
