Columbus was up 3 goals on two separate occasions today, 3-0 and 4-1, and still lost by 3. That’s hockey, baby!
Sens at Toronto tonight. Haven’t played since the 18th and missing a bunch of players. Going to say 6-1 Leafs.
Louder cheer for the Blues. We travel. Also The Wild’s sweaters are still awful but the leather looking pants and gloves take attention away from it. Doesn’t look as bad over all
The craziest part, 10 years ago in NHL/MLB you almost never saw a -300 line. Now its getting more and more common
Those were boos you heard. I think that’s the coldest I’ve ever been. Fun for the novelty factor but goddam, never again.
Nice seeing the underlying numbers finally start to materialize into points for Hughes. 15 in 16 now. Devils still need another high level winger though. We'll see if it's Holtz.
James Neal on waivers my lord did he fall off a cliff. Hard to imagine 2021 Milan Lucic being involved in the winning side of a trade.
Not really. Oilers were able to buyout Neal and only eat a 2 million cap hit over the next 4 years. Lucic is on the cap at 5.25 for this year and next.

Yeah you can’t do that. He had a clear lane to get out of the goal and decided to punch the goalie instead.
The Devils had several injury and roster updates following the team's Tuesday morning skate. They are as follows… Captain Nico Hischier will not play against Boston tonight due to a lower-body injury Defenseman Dougie Hamilton (broken jaw) will have surgery Wednesday. He will be placed on Injured Reserve retroactively to Jan. 2 Goaltender Jonathan Bernier underwent successful surgery on his right hip Monday and will be out for the remainder of the season Forwards Yegor Sharangovich and Pavel Zachahave entered COVID-19 protocols and will be unavailable against the Bruins
Wild have had an active day as well. This isn't even everything that has happened today, just the bigger ones:
