He’s been very solid. Some games great, others ok. He and the o line in general has been much better this year.
It’s honestly a weird feeling that we signed good free agents. Pretty much has never happened in Bengals history. The defensive signings have almost all been great except Wayans because he can’t stay healthy. Reiff at RT has also been a huge upgrade from shitty Bobby Hart.
Very solid. Struggled in the first half today but has been among the best in the league in fewest pressures so far this season
I wasn’t anti-Sewell by any means. I was just enamored with Chase. He’s already surpassed my lofty expectations and the offensive line has been fine albeit not spectacular. I don’t think anyone was expecting the line to go from horrendous to elite. They just needed to go from horrendous to okay and I think that’s definitely what we’re seeing. Will need to go o-line early again in the draft since Reiff is old.
We always seem to have about 10 picks each draft. Would love to see us take 5 OL each of the next two years and keep spending money on defense. 3/10 are bound to hit as starters plus I'm sure a backup or two
They'll win Sunday and lose to KC to make us sweat out week 17 against the Browns. At least it won't be Pittsburgh.
Looks like that's the Titans again. Good stuff Bengals. Things are shaping up for a Divisional round rematch.
Draft a first-round offensive lineman, get the Bates extension done, pick up another piece in the secondary, and get Ossai back.
Bates has actually been pretty shitty this year. Still hope they can get an extension figured out but he sure as hell isn’t get top safety money after his play this season.
Rest everyone. Still might be able to beat the Browns because they'll likely be sitting a bunch of starters and Allen is a solid backup.
All of our players should huddle up in Mixon's apartment at One Rookwood and catch COVID now and be immune for the playoffs
what are your guys thoughts on the 3 vs the 4 seed? As I see it, Bills will move to 3 if they win and Bengals lose while resting starters. Assuming Colts, Pats, and Chargers win, that would give Bengals a home game vs. NE and Bills a home game vs Indy. I'd rather play NE as a Bills fan. And then, in theory, if the top teams all win, Cincy would get Tenn and Buffalo would get KC. I'd rather go to Tennessee as a Bills fan. But if Raiders win, they jump to 6. That seems like the real prize for a potential 3 seed.
Whoever has the best combination of a bad offense (mostly passing) and below average defense is who I want to play
I haven’t watched much NFL this year outside of us. Looking forward to being interested in the playoffs again
