It’s a project from the metav3rse Instagram page https://instagram.com/metav3rse?utm_medium=copy_link If anyone wants an invite to the discord just DM - it’s currently closed and has so much valuable info about crypto/nfts
I’ve been working on Twitter and Discord for a few months to acquire one of these. Finally worked out a deal with Kibaa from https://houseofkibaa.com/ to buy one from him under low ask. Figured with only 25 and several locked up by Top Shot accounts that can’t sell or Diamond hands whale accounts, I would roll the dice.
That is siiiick. How the hell do you determine market value on something like that when doing your deal? Looks like almost a full year since last sale before yours, and obviously TS went nuts during that time.
I would hate to educate the cryoto thread. But as a result of NFTs in 20022 alone: I’ve invested in a book club I’ve invested in video game production I’ve invested in comic books I’ve invested in an animated series Watching Chumbolone and user15000 dismiss NFTs is hilarious.
I made over half a million dollars in crypto last year and I’m buying a Porsche 911 Turbo. Do you, bro.
No offense, but none of these things remotely interest me and never will. My interests lie in a trustless, permissionless digital property supported by proof of work. Not book clubs, comic books, video games, or proof of stake systems for that matter. Same, but more and I'm not buying a car, but same. My lack of NFT interest is going just fine.
I'm not interested in the dick measuring contest just curious if that was always your dream car. I'm not much of a car guy
Well, it’s tough to determine what the actual market is on it. I would say it’s kind of like driving off the car lot (at least before the last year) and it’s worth less than I paid at the moment. It has three very good things going for it: tied for the lowest mint count on the platform, was the first play actually minted on the platform (not the date of the play but the minting process), and is of a young popular All-NBA type guard (who do much better than big men in sports collectibles). I did learn a lot though that the owners that have them didn’t want to sell and I took that as a pretty good sign. I’m not into social media clout or anything but figured this might also open up some doors later in both the NBA and NFT space that wouldn’t happen by me just sitting on BTC/ETH. I could have gotten it for cheaper off site ($28,500) with the owner Kibaa (who seems like he could be trusted given his other NFT project) but thought it was better to make sure the purchase price was forever on the Dapper blockchain.
I think you're going to do well in the long run, for all the reasons you listed. Even if the floor falls out of the newer stuff, those early moments are going to do well. on another topic, I saw where pixel vault says $PUNKS and $POW have started unlocking.
congrats then, that's a massive win for you I made a ton this year and bought myself a pair of shoes I wanted but couldn't justify spending $150 on. I'm cheap
The lack of dick measuring is what I appreciate most about this thread. the little dudes in their cute vehicles can leave now and lol I made more money than both of you look at mah dick
All I did was point out how uneducated these two are and how fun investing in NFTs is and look at them seeking that validation
Candy, who is backed by fanatics, is opening their marketplace for their MLB NFTs on the 15th. Hope these take off. None of their mints were very large and I’ve got an 8/40 Adley Rutschman. 23/120 Freddie Freeman too.
Just got into NFL All Day finally. Anybody else get that today? For those already in, I can buy one of this weeks base packs right now. Should I?
Yea it looked like the week 13 and 14 base packs were still available but when I went to buy it said "expired"
“aLl i DiD wAs” You tagged us. We don’t participate itt. We’ve made offhand remarks, at worst been a little dismissive, of NFTs when brought up or asked about them in the crypto thread - but who cares? Do you. I’m not anti-NFT. I’m interested in/have looked into a few projects (BAYC, Zedrun), but ultimately passed for the same reasons I pass on most crypto projects - I think the art (project) generally sucks, a lot of the projects are trend chasing, the economics/revenue models are sketchy af… greater fool theory. The real underlying issue here is I doxxed your empty MetaMask wallet six months ago bc you’re sus. And of course your response was “you don’t know my real MetaMask wallet bc she goes to a different school.” You give off larper/fraud vibes. Your goal is to be an “influencer” ffs. I’m not interested in “learning” from those types of people. NFTs have strong use cases and unlimited potential. I just don’t think Bored Apes, Gutter Cats, Pepe Frogs, Chubby Penguins or the hundred other iterations, variations of a noun with a couple dozen interchangeable “traits” are it. If you enjoy it though, again, do you. But yeah, if you’re gonna frame it as we’re dumb and missing out, I’m gonna wave this big ol PNL dick all up in your face. Bc that’s why I participate. That’s what‘s fun about crypto to me - making money. If you can prove you made more than me in NFTs in 2021 I’ll drive the Porsche to you, sign over the registration, and hand you the keys.
Jfc you’re triggered pal the NFT influencer tag line is a joke and here you are, just like user, putting words in my mouth and taking this way too seriously. Should we post our tax returns next? You realize how the blockchain and etherscan works, right? It doesn’t sound like you do. This is weak and I shouldn’t have brought this nonsense to this thread. It was just a tag. You could’ve ignored it and taken your fancy car for a spin instead of taking the bait. If you really want to continue pursuing this then spin up a separate thread and clear up your terms. I’m not interested in your car just like you two aren’t interested in NFTs. Most of us understand that lol
Yes, please create the thread you’ll get some good engagement and another chance to brag about your cute car and everyone here can get back to not having to witness this
The Deck the Hoops one? That was a little out of my range. Believe it was over $55K to complete with the Wade at $40K at the end. Only 34 minted and $64K low price. None have sold yet.
Anybody else in here NFL All Day? Sanjuro ? I think somebody was. since the market isn't open yet, any clue if the base packs at $49 or premium at $249 are "worth it"?
No, it was his project and he decided to split ways while I was home for a funeral. I’m now working for an established project.
Yes, I got two packs so far. One rare out of the two, Cooper Kupp. I’m not sure if they are worth it or not TBH. No market yet and no type of challenges to guage interest. My NFT funds are depleted now for a while after the Trae purchase and completing the Hard challenge last night so probably won’t even get in the queue for a pack tomorrow. If you can get in line though then I would say it is worth the risk for a common pack.
Sorry I missed this earlier. They say it's based on your overall activity in dapper, not solely CS or spend. They aren't sharing the actual formula of course. For reference my base CS is around 2500
https://discord.gg/9WxC5zhR A new NFT for college players NILs based on the Dapper platform. Join the discord link above if you can to get early access. UGA football is the majority of players currently involved. #Georgia Bulldogs https://www.theplayerslounge.io/
Yes, most likely. I expect to make a little on the Cooper Kupp Rare I got previously when they open up the marketplace. However, I think Top Shot still has more long term potential.
Just got mine open, took several tries. noah Fant /8,000 Dare Ogunbowale /10,000 Jacobi Meyers/ 10,000 All commons. Definitely not profiting off that pack
