Looked up the article, Mack is un-tradable and they said Quinn would probably yield a better in season return next year with a contender that loses a critical piece.
I’d roll with Mack and Quinn next year, you’re already going to have to replace Hicks and Goldman. Money isn’t a problem and obviously draft picks aren’t either when you trade them away like baseball cards
not against it, just thinking maybe you can flip the top pass rusher in the league this year for futures
Ryan Day will fit in great with the Bears and the fact he picked Fields over Burrows, match made in heaven.
Really bummed about Jeff Dickerson’s passing, that shit is so unfair. He would bring up his 11 year old son on almost every espn radio hit, and he’s now lost both his parents to cancer in the last 2 years. Fucked up
They have no f’n clue. Just fire everyone and let some make a wish kids run the team for the last couple days.
You know Virginia is just soaking her depends up in her suite with the Giants ineptitude to start. Wouldn’t be surprised if they announce a Nagy/Pace extension by halftime.
I remember over the summer some foot surgeon was going on and on about how he had the potential to have a huge year and I just rollled my eyes. Man, this Quinn with the 2018 Mack/Hicks/Goldman would of been a sight to see. Oh well.
Interesting. It’s hard to judge Olin’s take on this due to his relationship with Mustipher. Borom seems like a steal on the outside. Get a C that is actually strong enough to hold up vs an NFL DT with Daniels/Whitehair next to him and that interior is really good. I think at this point you have to hope the kids are legit on the outside because there’s too many other holes on this team to fill to invest the dollars or draft capital it will take for a legit LT.
getting reps when the season is lost would be nice for the rookies… but this franchise is a fucking joke
Honestly, outside of hardcore Bears fans no one cares what JP did this year. But he was happy fishing off the coast of Alaska and should of never risked his body for this shit team except he felt sorry for his boy Castillo. But what would they have done without him?
Chicago will be a highly desirable job. A ton of roster flexibility. A stud young QB. A ownership group that won’t interfere and just wants to win.
I wonder if they’ve reached out to Harbaugh yet? Some article I saw this weekend mentioned there are rumors they are hiring Dungy/Polian as consultants. Would be a hell of an upgrade from the Ted/George brain trust.
Ernie Accorsi is the guy they went to when hiring Pace. Dungy/Polian is a better brain trust. Might lead us to a Caldwell hire at Coach. But more concerned about the GM tbqh
Letting Ted Phillips run the show for decades suggests otherwise. He is going to direct the ship in the direction that allows him a seat at the table and that will mean him picking other idiots to run the team like he has several times over.
These candidates must not know pace is a nice guy and very collaborative. The mccaskeys see this I hate this organization so much
