Wtf they do team moments?? That RC Carter is nice at least. As for pricing, you really can't yet, they don't have the marketplace up so no buying/selling
It could've been user error, but the way they did the premium pack drop on NFL Allday was dumb. Got the standard and the premium waiting room wasn't open yet. Check back 15 minutes later and suddenly it's running and I'm at the end of the line. No pre-room on that one, at least not on my end? Edit: there was a waiting room apparently, it was just short
Didn’t get in on the premium one on time. Got a rare Las Vegas Raiders moment though /499 in a common. Interface is light years behind Top Shot’s though at the moment. I believe they will need to incorporate this product into some type of weekly fantasy going forward next year to succeed. Where you have to fill a lineup based on your moments. Somehow have to incorporate OL into it though. Bringing in fantasy people from the masses is the key
That seems like an obvious tie-in for them, hope they have the sense to do it. There are secondary sites outside topshot that do that for basketball right?
Yes but they are pretty rudimentary. I actually had a conversation with Top Shot VIP team today about incorporating long term fantasy with staked moments for the entire NBA season. Would have three tiers for different collectors (common, rare, legendary). The owner would have to keep their moments all season and winners would get minted different tiered MVP moments. Ever player would have a salary set and cap to prevent someone from just stacking All-Stars.
Well I’m not sure how that works then. I was 9,000 with 2,000 left. There are 17 left now and I’m 6,572.
The interface mostly. It’s not easily laid out. The moments aren’t organized. I haven’t been able to open a pack yet. They just appear in my moments later.
No I know - i was saying it’s amazing to me the UX and everything could be so bad when it’s literally a replica of Top Shot I just pulled two Atlanta Falcons safeties, Zay Jones catch, and Travis Kelce TD lol
I initially joined the queue and forgot then I must have clicked back in and got super lucky right when it was my turn
Because there are a much higher % of players that even long term NFL fans won’t know due to less exposure than individual NBA players. I think fantasy aspect is needed in Top Shot as well but not to the extent of All Day. Packs are really pricey as well. In Top Shot still worse case is -$2 profit on a regular pack.
ah yea I didn’t think about the difference of a 53 man roster as opposed to a 13 man roster or whatever nba has
With all these flash challenges on TS, if Im not close to completing them im going the opposite route and selling the guys I do have at the small bump. D Russell and Lavine Cool Cats up for sale now
Good night to sell duplicates if you are following along the games. Packs aren’t worth what people will spend for needed moments.
Was about to complete last nights flash challenge bc I had 6/9 but then saw the deangelo Russell cheapest moment was like $48 so never mind
Got two DGD NFTs. One epic in my profile pic. Still 1,800 packs left and buying was pretty seamless. Being on Dapper network will be much easier for marketplace to move. https://app.theplayerslounge.io/packs/22
Do you all see gas right now? That appears to OpenSea's replacement causing the spike. These next few months are about to be wild. https://looksrare.org/ -- some of you may be eligible for an airdrop but obviously wait until gas is low to claim. And the website is buggy, it's just the mvp.
This defeats the whole argument of "someone has to want YOUR particular ape/NFT" now. Anyone holding an ape can accept this bid. Now there can be 1, 10, 1000 outstanding Dapper Dino bids that you can accept for instant liquidity if needed.
Lol at the bolded. No....no it does not defeat the argument. A single person/entity (or hell even 100) saying I'll buy any of this specific NFT at X price does not defeat the entire argument or problem with the lack of fungibility and liquidity in NFT markets generally.
That's your opinion and I think nobody here cares TBH. Bye. The try-hard from the ones saying they don't care about NFTs but want to correct, dismiss, or mock my opinion is laughable. And probably exhausting for a lot of us. I was just sharing a new marketplace and a new enhancement that OS doesn't have, and IMO it does defeat the argument. Previously the bidder had to bid on a listing individually. Now they can mass bid, or make one bid that anyone holding the NFT can accept. Without having to create a bot, because a lot of us know and have the resources to do that.
We should be talking about the Klay return top shot and who’s getting it, or projects that people are interested in that may provide short term or long term value or even just entertainment. Take arguing about why you think NFTs are stupid or otherwise somewhere else please
I’m getting it but had to pay $61 for a Maxi Kleber and $6 for Austin Rivers last night. I think the reward will be worth more than that. 2,916 completions currently.
I only had to get an Austin Rivers. Just thankful I wasn’t trying to get a Bane. That was going to piss me off
Bane has become a good enough player that I just went ahead and got his MGLE for future hard challenges. Should keep its value after the 60,000 mint series 3 knocks the value down on the common rookie.
So livetoken let's you see the top accounts for CS based on favorite team and other stuff. Would it be creepy or weird for me to message the top Bucks CS accounts advertising my Redd for sale? Not wanting to be that guy, but also ready to trade that in for stuff I want
Got first 2 packs: JT Thor /12000 triple badge Marcus Smart /18000 Greg Brown /18000 rookie badge everything else 60k+ trash
