This is over, all I want is a new staff and GM next year. These guys aren’t capable of winning they need to all go
Come out of the pile with the ball don’t get it, they tackle our WRs no call. Just impossible for us to win against that
Always fun to have your playoff odds completely taken away by a shit tier offense and shit tier officiating.
I just want this staff and front office gone. I don’t give a fuck about next week. That’s enough of this garbage. The team was clearly not prepared for the biggest game of the season. That’s inexcusable
A couple of times the offensive players got momentum going only for coaches to blow it. Note that the titans got wide open touchdowns when do you ever see our playcalling generate that?
Someone texted me this. Not sure if accurate but sounds good. This is only as long as broncos win today We win. Pit loses one more time between tomorrow or next week. Chargers lose to Broncis but beat Raiders.
Big yikes. I’m just not sure how that’s even close even if you don’t see the arm hook. He’s still going into his back and causing contact as he then falls. Just mind blowing to let that go
I just assumed they saw a titans with the ball as they were digging and called it…even though a dolphin came out with it a minute later. I didn’t think too much about it although it looked odd I would say both DPI instances were worse than just a fumble pile
Might be an unpopular opinion, but given the QBs available, and knowing you’re A) going to give up a lot of picks, and B) not going to get Aaron Rodgers, I’d rather run it back with this staff/front office, sign 2-3 top end OL in FA, draft/sign a few more skill guys, and see what shakes out. if next year doesn’t pan out, then blow it up. And use your 2 1sts to take a QB the next staff likes. do NOT want Watson.
That’s why I specifically said sign top end OL in FA and said draft the skill. Need guys that can start now on the OL as well
I’m fully on board the Fuck Watson plan but I’d do it without this staff. Give tua/waddle some opportunity with someone who knows how to create. No coward coaches please
The defense has been good under Flores, and there’s a lot of young/good pieces that fit this scheme. I’d be hesitant to risk that going up in flames for the offense to MAYBE be better. I’d tell you get a new OC but I think consistency would be better for Tua than 3 systems in 3 years. Hope Studsville has learned from this year, and that some of the play Calling has been bad due to the OL limiting you. it’s all a gamble one way or the other. The question also becomes who you’re going to get hired that’s worth a damn if you’re asking them to A) stick with Tua a year and B) run a defense that can use a lot of the pieces we have effectively
Good but inconsistent. Almost lost X anyway. And the defense repeatedly didn’t come up big in big spots. Including against fucking Jacksonville. Sure they made Ian book look awful but they didn’t come up big this year. They even pretty much blew it against New England too if it wasn’t for just one stroke of luck. that defense isn’t worth keeping the offense this cowardly and conservative and they need to be accountable for the worst OL any of us have ever seen. credit for finding some talent. Holland and Waddle are fantastic rookies. Tua looks like a real qb. But at best you can say this staff wasted talent by completely fucking up critical units like the OL and backfield.
I think that’s a valid take too. It’s not a sure thing no matter what we do. The sound of it is Grier’s job is probably safe at least
Yeah, not a knock on Smith necessarily because he had a solid rookie year in his own right. But I was dead wrong on my take that we should have taken Smith over Waddle at 5.
Side note unrelated to this team, the too many men penalty when a player is running off the field and is near the sideline is so fucking dumb
Yep he did the hold ma dickkk lol. Surprised it didn't get flagged with how uptight refs are this year.
