I’m a little disappointed in the aftermath of last night’s result. I thought there would be way more TMB fireworks.
I think your bbq/cooking is overrated and you’ve been riding the coattails of that one picture you posted like 6 years ago. Spindletap makes average hazies and I regret spending the $20 every time. If you would spend more time being present for your son (and not posting garbage on TMB) maybe he wouldn’t climb on your beloved two level dishwasher. I agree with your wife’s family. You’re being a little bitch about covid and ruining relationships over the flu. That’s all I got.
Anyone into gas RC cars? I always wanted one but when I was a kid, that was outside of our means. Kind of want to get one but looking for something that can be tinkered with.
I never went gas powered, but played with this class of car/truck from ages 10-16. Made a big dirt track in my buddies back yard. There is shit out now that can do like 100mph and 0-60 in sub 3 seconds.
I think it's so cool that you can buy new Blackfoot kits and grasshoppers and hornets, etc I almost bought a clodbuster a couple of years ago when I saw they were making then again.
Random movie Take inbound...I get that it's a total plot device, but it drives me crazy that in a lot of movies anyone with any type of authority never believes the protagonist when he/she experiences something crazy...especially if it's sci-fi/fantasy related Parents: nope Police: nope Government officials: nope I mean I get natural skepticism but in most cases it's...fuck I'm having trouble articulating my thoughts...the point is I've consumed enough content in my life that if say TC posted that he legit saw an UFO last night, I wouldn't immediately think he was lying and dismiss it
Scully not believing Mulder after 10 years would piss me off. Like how much crazy shit do you have to see to believe.
I have friends into this and they spend insane fucking amounts of money on it. They legit race and shit though. My one friend does have a track and can confirm, I could spend a solid 8 straight hours there. However, after breaking an unknown amount of shit I threw $50 and left. Definitely one of things I never knew existed and was surprised at how awesome it was.
I was really into it in like middle school through high school. I legit had sponsors and everything. Traveled to races. Raced in state, national, and even world championship events. I don't want to know how much my dad spent on all that. But there was a time that I would spend every dime I earned in summer jobs etc on it. Was lots of fun and I made some lifelong friends doing it. College hijinks got in the way and I never got back into it.
Speaking of gas, who else does this? My wife goes bananas anytime a gas tank is under a 1/4 full. If the light isn’t on you’re fine. Made it to the gas station with 4 miles to spare.
My family goes on a vacation with my parents every year and my dad thinks his tank is getting low when it’s half full. We stop to get gas entirely too much.
iirc letting your gas get that low on a regular basis puts unnecessary wear and tear on your fuel pump because it's cooled by the gas in the tank
The Daily Dot: ‘They tried to set me up’: Man breaks ‘pay it forward’ streak at Starbucks drive-thru in viral TikTok, sparking debate. https://www.dailydot.com/irl/man-breaks-starbucks-pay-it-forward-streak-tiktok/ Cliffs: ordered a $6 drink, paying it forward would have been $46.
Running your gas tank too low forces the system to pull through sediment that usually just settles on the bottom of the tank. Bad on the vehicle. Also, there are about 1,000,000 ways that running low could put you with an empty tank. Forgot wallet, gas station card reader down, gas station out of gas, wreck and stuck for additional time idling with no way to exit road that you are stuck on, etc… I am not saying that I am rooting for you to run out of gas BuckeyeRiot . I will say that I will be giggling like a little girl when it does happen as you have been warned. In this situation, your wife is playing the logical man role and you are playing the airhead wife role.
And also, Bo Pelinis ’s dad is on the opposite end of the spectrum unless all the family vacations are in the Sahara or wilds of Siberia where there are no gas stations.
My brother has a diesel truck and ran out of gas a few blocks from the gas station. Completely fucked up traffic for 45 mins and had to get towed because Diesel engines lock up.
Been driving this way for 27 years man, never run out once. Also on my 11 mile commute I pass no less than 9 gas stations.
I have a 26 gallon tank. A little bit of gas is still quite a bit of gas. Especially when it’s almost entirely short town drives with a gas station on every corner. I don’t fw low tanks on highway/interstate.
My man doesn’t ever get below half a tank regardless of how close he is to a gas station. And he wears gloves to pump gas every single time because germs and gas smells. And his boat is the cleanest motherfucker in the world. And he had me drive his 6.2 to pull a trailer because he thought my 5.7 wouldn’t be enough. The man’s hair has never gotten longer than maybe 1/2 inch my entire life. Stays getting cleaned up at the barber. Sort of dude who wears belts and suspenders at the same time.
