Chris Del Conte might be the most arrogant jackass in college athletics, and that's really saying something
Never. We just put millions in renovations. It's actually really loud there, the mics are turned down bc the announcers are at home
Yeah, we got the break on that one. This crew did call us being on the line when inbounding the ball after a made basket which I havent seen called since 1998, when it was called on me.
Holy hell the end of that KU-Iowa State game, huge shots by Brockington and then Harris in the final 30 seconds.
ACC wasn’t letting Miami go 6-0 in conference after we beat Duke the other night. Just wasn’t going to happen
like why wouldn’t they have just rigged it so they didn’t beat duke in the first place why was 6-0 the deciding factor to trigger the conspiracy
Why are the announcers at home? I mean I know it's covid and all, but why just your game are they at home?
They've been doing it for a lot of games the past 2 seasons. Not sure how they decide. It's awful, because the announcers don't know what some of the calls are, or why things are being reviewed
It was really bad during the FSU/UF game last year when Johnson collapsed and the announcers had no clue what was going on at all. I think they had been doing some mid major games like that even before the pandemic, but never acknowledged it.
I get it, but I've watched a lot of tech basketball in the past couple of years and don't remember any of them sounding bad enough to stand out and me realize the guys are at home. That WVU game was terrible sound wise. But I guess since I haven't been to that arena, I will trust those that have and assume the shitty sound was because of the announcers being away
