Chvrches are supposed to be oversees during Roo so unless that tour gets cancelled something seems off for them. Either way I'm sure most of this is real and it's not too bad.
You know somethings real fucky when their lineup isn't out first. There was a rumor they were pushing back until October. I wonder if there is any truth to that now.
Same same. I will poke my nose around Reddit later tonight and tomorrow. I will cross post anything worth posting here like playlists and shit. A printed this copy to keep in my car so I can go to a random artist on Spotify. Listened to Flume and Lord Huron again for the first time in a while . Ehhh. I don't see myself lining up for the rail for either. God, I love this feeling of going through the lineup, discovering new music, and culling what I don't like.
Only thing so far is an EDM subgenre House Sidepiece (Nitti Gritti and Party Favor’s project) VNSSA Disclosure Lane 8 John Summit Chris Lorenzo J. Worra LP Giobbi Phantoms Ship Wrek Westend Chris Lake Nora En Pure Habstrakt (heavier style than most, can also fall under heavy bass) Dombresky Future Bass Gryffin Illenium Flume Porter Robinson (electro-synth-anime-weebstep) Said The Sky Moore Kismet (kind of hard to categorize, can also be trap or heavy bass) Experimental Bass Clozee Wreckno Com3t (also a vocalist) G Jones Of The Trees Ravenscoon A Hundred Drums Heavy Bass Black Tiger Sex Machine Lucii (can also be experimental) Rezz (Midtempo) Spoiler waiting on Nashville Knight to find a discrepancy.
Haha, I love this. To be honest, I was more impressed with last years Saturday EDM lineup because it was stacked. I don’t feel the same way with this lineup. We love Illenium, Gryffin, and Said The Sky and have seen them multiple times. I want to see Gryffin, Sidepiece, and Rezz but not likely going down there for more than 1-2 days. Friday/Saturday single day tickets is our best bet.
Gotta make sure you have plenty of future bass as well as experimental bass and heavy bass or it’s just not a real lineup.
I made a big ass playlist. It has at least an albums worth of music for every artist. I plan to make a few genre specific or day specific playlists as well. Spoiler
Alright you fucking nerds, I live in Austin….. I’ve been to every SXSW and ACL since 2010 …Glastonbury 2016 and 2019 (I was there literally in the middle of Brexit and appropriately called them idiots) ….TomorrowLand 2015 and 2018 (making friends with rich Japanese wrestling fans rules) …Osheaga…frolic naked you fools! ….Lollapalooza Argentina….frolic hottie girls you fools! I’ve seen some shit. I’ve done some shit. i fucking love this lineup.
Finally made through five songs for everyone on Thursday. It fucking blows for my liking. Thursday last year was going to be one of my favorite days. Guess I will be on the rail for Andy Frasco. That's about it. But I'm all about it too. Plenty of time to set up, wonder around, and stumbled onto something unexpected.
