Agreed, a buddy of mine tried to compare it to mardi gras (He's not from LA) and I had to tell him that I've never seen someone throw drinks at someone. Most people just remove their kids from the situation and go about their day.
And color me naive, but I am legit shocked that the replies to the thread seem to imply that this is par for the course at a motorcross event. I would have assumed they would be loaded with kids.
Someone in the replies found the chick. She definitely missed her calling of being a regional rep for The Chive.
Same, I skimmed it and saw "adult event" a lot and figured it was a rock concert or something. Lady sucks for showing her tits. Lady sucks for getting so mad about it. Crowd sucks for throwing beer at her.
I've attended a lot of motocross and supercross events and have never seen this type of behavior before. Not even close. Must be a regional thing?
I agree and it’s really not a big deal, but if not breast feeding then really no need. Really just respect others around you thing. I’ve got no problem with my kids seeing it and having a simple conversation with them.
i'm listening to Daniel Popper do a podcast-like recap and Q&A from the SNF game and the season. He's the Chargers' beat reporter for The Athletic and mid-rant about some dumb fan criticisms, he takes an aside to exclaim that he has no idea what this tweet was about and he was randomly tagged in it. I can't stop laughing at the random tags: a few random brands (like baked beans and cornnuts), a couple of random people (like popper and a CA state senator whose last name is Weiner?), a guy who hasn't tweeted since 2018, and one of the pickles' players.
Yea if you take your kid to Mardi Gras - inevitably he's going to see some topless ladies. Motorcross, I was unaware this was just an assumed situation like a Motley Crue concert or something.
These folks are all hopped up on Monster energy drinks, I’m surprised their wasn’t bare cooter all over the place
Well I guess we've reached the end times - I actually think that girl is probably cute and it's just not a great photo (lighting and/or airbrushing is weird).
When comparing two things I never use former versus latter because it really confused me for the longest time. i also thought this was the random thoughts thread so I’m on a roll here
I agree, but if occasionally being comically critical and flippant (in true message board fashion) about a butt model is wrong then I don’t want to be right.
He looks like fucking Beetlejuice but I fully admit I don't understand what that generation thinks is attractive
