seems like you've really given this some thought, props Again, want to think op for using the beautiful #Houston Oilers and as a random:
bigred77 was supposed to set us straight on this fuel dilemma, but I think he was blowin smoke. More like Bigfraud77 IYAM
My zoomer sister (19) has a vintage polaroid camera and watches Friends for fashion inspiration...a lotta early 2000s culture has been out so long that its in again
They were a staple on rides to school with my dad circa 1992-1996. He was pretty bummed about this news
Is The Burger Den old news? We’re stuck at home with Covid so I was looking at DoorDash yesterday and noticed it. I live in a small town and didn’t recognize the name, so I tried to find reviews elsewhere. Turns out it’s just a rebrand of Denny’s to specifically sell more of their burgers on DoorDash. Denny’s still exists, but they are allowed mislead people to sell more shit. How is that okay lol?
Maggiano's is my wife's favorite chain restaurant. Closest one is like 40 minutes away from us. We were blown away to see it in one of the delivery apps. Ordered a bunch of food and it was horrific. Turns out it came from chili's.
Chili's by me actually has a second ghost kitchen called just wings. They are slinging all kinds of low quality food from that place.
They built a pretty large building in south Austin and even put up a pretty fancy sign on a ghost kitchen I imagine the inside is just a large kitchen and large food storage areas
A lot of the "ghost kitchens" have such comically generic names it's easy to pick them out as not being real restaurants.
Wingstop has Thighstop now. I didn't love the bone-in thighs, much to my chagrin. The boneless thigh bites were better. Probably something to do with how their fryers are set up. *Don't come at me about boneless wings. I am always always always a bone-in man*
Not a lot but you get enough in your fuel filter and it will choke out your engine from running. Source: A 90s Ford F 250 diesel truck with 2 old rusty gas tanks that caused me much, much pain.
The first time I saw the thigh stop commercial I legitimately “lost hard” Rick Ross: “Nah, we doing thighs now”
I felt really cool showing one of our analysts those old Nike basketball commercials. 30 seconds later 6 of them are in my office piled around. I probably have COVID but damn I love these commercials and scary movie 2.
You should go see a Pickles game, I've seen multiple when they come up here to play the Raptors, they can be quite fun. If you like to talk shit like I do just be aware it wouldn't take much for one of those college kids to hop that 4' chain link fence and beat your ass. So if you're going to take shots at them do it with a smile.
i'm not sure who "you" is, but i've seen probably 2 dozen-ish since they've been out here. the quality of play isn't very good but getting lit in the parking lot, watching a baseball game, and then lyfting to some food cart spot less than ~3 miles away on a summer night is pretty fun
i will also say that the parking lot outside of the stadium is sketchy as fuck and you should never under any circumstances leave anything valuable in your car, so there's the rush you get from that too
