Cloud Gaming is suuuuper easy and no installs. As people said, newer Xbox controllers are all bluetooth.
New Rainbow Six game (Rainbow Six Extraction) coming out on January 20th on GamePass. Alright fuck, I'll download it.
The beta had the absolute worst watermark ever, was unplayable. I don’t like the premise of this game, but R6 always has good gun mechanics I feel like
I have an Xbox One and haven’t played it in a long time but figured I’d turn it on and get any necessary update it definitely needs. I click to install updates and go away for a couple hours only to return to a black screen. I press the X middle button and nothings happens so I hold it and it gives me options to turn off, reset, etc. I select reset and now anytime I turn it on it goes through the green Xbox screen then straight to black and the only thing I can do is hold the X button to turn off, reset, etc. I tried the trouble shooting given online to fix black screen of death and it doesn’t do anything. I’m fucked huh?
I have the same thing. I have game pass so I game from my Pc now. I don’t know if there is a way back for the console.
I’m trying not to be all cynical but the chances this happens when trying to update when I haven’t logged that many hours on it for the past 3-4 years and there’s a new system out…
Played The Lost City, it’s on Game Pass, and I really enjoyed it. If you like single player experiences like 4-6 hour experiences I really enjoyed playing it
I think they’re bolstering game pass against whatever Sony has cooking up on that regards. This is an absolute monster acquisition
I read where they’re keeping Kotick on as ceo. I would’ve thought they’d want to distance themselves from any of that.
Think you misread that. They’re going to operate independently until it closes and then I think the press release said something to the effect of “Activision leadership will report directly to Microsoft Gaming CEO, Phil Spencer.” they’re not going to announce Kotick is out since they’re still operating independently but there’s no chance he isn’t imo
COD is going to be big, sure, but Activision doesn't even try to optimize and compress the data to get it down to something reasonable. If they wanted to put in the effort they could cut a 175GB file size down to 100GB with no discernable effect on the game.
I'm planning to party up and try it out tonight. I am completely fine with it being short-lived as long as it's fun for the short time.
In Forza Horizon 5, where is the file manager to delete saved tunes? I can't download one, because it says I have too many. This is really annoying.
Maybe 15-20 years ago when I was actually good at racing games. I'm a boomer now in the gaming world.
Halp. Tried to turn on my xbox one x for the first time in a month or so. It turned on for a few seconds and turned off. Unplugged the power supply for a bit and replugged it. I could hear a buzz in the back without even turning it on. Keeps doing the same thing. Any ideas? Tried compressed air at the back with no luck. It's out of warranty, so I may be better off buying new than sending in.
would try hard resetting it, try a different outlet, blow out the power brick Does it just load on the green xbox screen before powering off manually?
