Knew it would. Team is so inept from 3 and I’m irrationally angry after a comfortable win.

misleading stat considering how great we were in the 80s.

I've never been so disappointed after winning a game.

I’ll be done with my daughters game hopefully by like 8ish on 1/28 and then I’ll head that way.

There’s all sorts of solid sports bars and places to eat/drink in Fay. JJ’s on Dickson or Wedington, Foghorns by Baum Stadium (wings), or you can get great Q at Wrights in Johnson which is like 5 mins from the Fayetteville mall.

You can scout Dickson St if you want but doubt there’s shit going on until after 7-8pm.

Im sure we will hit JJ’s on Saturday night

I think people had legitimate concerns over losing DBs when there was talk of more than fouchd and brooks leaving. And then we picked up a DB from lsu so that evened out

other than the defensive backs I don’t think they’ve lost anyone they are upset about

I was legit concerned when Slusher was rumored to be leaving. Could’ve lived with the other two leaving (Brooks and Foucha) because they were clearly transferring to go home after graduating here and were splitting reps already.

it’s pretty clear we’ve upgraded in talent through the portal from what we’ve lost by a pretty wide margin. Land Brini and pick up a DT and we’re cookin with gas

Rankings update on our hoops class.

The future is incredibly bright for Arkansas basketball, largely thanks to the tremendous 2022 recruiting class Eric Musselman and his staff have put together. The group of five future Razorbacks — who all signed in the early period — rank at the top of the SEC and No. 2 in the country, according to the 247Sports Composite Team Rankings.

Now that we've made it through a significant portion of the high school season, the Top247 rankings were due for an update and received one Thursday morning. Here's a look at where Arkansas' five signees stand in the 247Sports Top 150, as well as a look at the Composite Rankings where each member of the class sits in the Top 100:

NICK SMITH JR. | NORTH LITTLE ROCK (ARK.) | CG, 6-4, 185

    [IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG]READ MORE[IMG][IMG][IMG]2021 Coaching Carousel updates

    Top247 Ranking: 5-star, No. 5 overall, 99 rating

    Change since last update: +2

    Updated 247Sports Composite: 5-star, No. 6 overall (+2), 0.9969 rating

A two spot bump seems modest, but it's significant when you're already as close to the top of the rankings as Nick Smith Jr. The crown jewel of Arkansas' 2022 class was has officially reached coveted Top-5 status. He is Musselman's first five-star signee since taking over at Arkansas and will be the highest-rated prospect to ever step foot on campus when he arrives for the 2022-23 season.

Smith has been dominant at North Little Rock so far this season against a grueling, national-level schedule and figures to be a plug and play standout for the Razorbacks. Here's his latest player evaluation from 247Sports Recruiting Analyst Jerry Meyer, who projects him as a future lottery pick with a player comparison to RJ Hampton:

"Has a slender build but with slinky agility. With his wiggle has a smooth athleticism with an extra gear. Although thin, makes plays in traffic. Does not shy away from contact and can absorb it and finish. A natural scorer. Very adept at attacking left and scoring off one foot. In general has a quality floater and an ability to score in unorthodox positions and situations. Reliable three-point shooter off the catch. Very comfortable cutting to his right for a shot. Handles well in an efficient, attacking mode.

"Not a traditional point guard type but can control the ball. Attacks to score but can distribute. Has a feel for the game and can deliver the timely pass. Has a lot of potential defensively. Needs to develop strength and consistency of effort on the defensive end but has instincts and defensive playmaking ability. Can improve as a rebounder. Overall, a competitive wiry athlete who is built to score ad be an overall playmaker."

    JORDAN WALSH | LINK ACADEMY/BRANSON (MO.) | SF, 6-7, 190

    Top247 Ranking: 5-star, No. 20 overall, 98 rating

    Change since last update: +17

    Updated 247Sports Composite: 5-star, No. 18 overall (+8), 0.9925 rating

Our last update pushed Jordan Walsh up to five-star status in the Composite Rankings, and his 17-spot climb in the latest edition has officially propelled him into the land of five stars via 247Sports. The second five-star signee, and first out-of-state, for Musselman becomes the sixth-highest rated prospect in program history and earned his bump starring with a loaded Link Academy squad on the national scene.

Here is Walsh's most recent player evaluation from 247Sports Recruiting Analyst Brandon Jenkins, who projects the athletic forward as a Power-5 starter:

"Walsh is a very long and active dual forward prospect who projects as a wing long-term but right now his offensive game is more that of a hybrid four. He has the upside to be a versatile asset at the high major level. He has good bounce and fluid strides to add to his lengthy frame. Walsh's calling card may be on the defensive end where he is disruptive guarding the ball and contesting shots.

"He has a nose for the ball and looks to control the glass when motivated and he can lead the break after securing a defensive rebound but lacks the natural acumen to make the right decisions consistently in offensive structure. He has a good looking jumper but it is not totally reliable. Improving his decision making and becoming more of a threat when open from behind the arc are his main areas of focus."

    DERRIAN FORD | MAGNOLIA (ARK.) | CG, 6-4, 200

    Top247 Ranking: 4-star, No. 60 overall, 94 rating

    Change since last update: -2

    Updated 247Sports Composite: 4-star, No. 56 overall (-2), 0.9770 rating

Derrian Ford pretty much holds steady in the latest Top247 update as a solid four-star prospect. Two things to know about Ford are he puts in incredible amount of work on his craft and body, and he wins... a lot. After suffering a rare loss in the state tournament last year, a taller, leaner Ford has Magnolia rolling once again this season on a quest for another championship run. Here's his latest player evaluation from 247Sports Recruiting Analyst Brandon Jenkins, who projects him as a Power-5 starter.

"Ford is a swole physical specimen of a lefty guard with a cut-up frame who has the body, speed, and agility of an elite wide receiver. First and foremost, Ford is tough and he is built as such. He can play with or without the ball in his hands on the offensive end and he has the lateral quickness and strength to be a devastating defender. While penetrating, Ford plays a brand of the bully ball at times that does not translate well but he projects as a high major complementary piece offensively that can be counted upon to do whatever is needed to help the Razorbacks program continue to be successful in the SEC."

    BARRY DUNNING | MCGILL-TOOLEN/MOBILE (ALA.) | SF, 6-6, 205

    Top247 Ranking: 3-star, No. 122 overall, 89 rating

    Change since last update: +3

    Updated 247Sports Composite: 4-star, No. 87 overall (+1), 0.9581 rating

Barry Dunning is the returning Gatorade High School Player of the Year in the state of Alabama, and given his propensity to collect double-doubles, he appears to be making a convincing case to nab the honors again during his senior season. Dunning — who had 28 points and 11 boards in his last game — has McGill-Toolen off to a 22-3 start to the year. Here's what Musselman had to say about the rangy wing after earning his signature during the Early Signing Period.

"Barry is multi-faceted. He’s another really, really versatile player. He’s great off the elbows. He’s a really, really, really good passer, and a willing passer. Very well coached. He understands spacing. He’s got a really high basketball IQ with the ball in his hands, and when the ball’s not in his hands. A guy that can score with his back to the basket, can score around the rim, can face up. But I think his passing right now really separates him at his size."

    JOSEPH PINION | MORRILTON (ARK.) | SF, 6-6, 185

    Top247 Ranking: 3-star, No. 136 overall, 89 rating

    Change since last update: -2

    Updated 247Sports Composite: 4-star, No. 89 overall (+1), 0.9551 rating

Joseph Pinion was the first domino to fall in Arkansas' stellar 2022 signing class, announcing his commitment in late-2020. It was his Morrilton squad who toppled Ford and Magnolia last season, and he has the Devil Dogs looking to contend once again in his final go-around. Pinion brings length and much-needed perimeter shooting to the fold for the Razorbacks. Here's what Musselman had to say about his first commitment in arguably the best class in program history.

"The thing with Joseph is he was the first one to step up in this class and say, ‘Hey, I want to be a Razorback player.’ I think that’s always a powerful message when somebody believes in what’s going on and wants to commit at an early stage.

"But he obviously is a great shooter with deep, deep range. He’s got incredible passion to be a Razorback player. His dad and his mom and his sister, they’ve been to several football games and I think he’s really, really excited about getting on campus. Obviously he’s become more and more healthy playing now without the knee brace. He gives us a good length and a guy that can play the two, three spot."
