USC just tweeted their "Fight On" when they get a commitment, so not shocked if Caleb pops this afternoon
If BK gets Caleb, it will be interesting to see who plays the role of the plucky little three star who shows enough noodle-armed moxie to keep him on the bench until he transfers again.
“Caleb, you see Ian in 2020? I’ll have you run out of bounds for a two yard loss so many times instead of throwing it away that it’ll boost your passing stats.”
Kelly needs to do well to disrupt the SEC from being just Bama or Georgia every year or whatever it takes for their to not be 2 SEC teams in the playoffs.
I agree. If he causes turmoil and discomfort down there, I'm all for it. Anything to mess with the status quo. I am also all for him getting his ass kicked a number of times too.
Crystal balls coming in for Jackson Arnold to Oklahoma. Top realistic targets left are Dante Moore, Vizzina, and Iamaleava?
We need Buchner to hit and get some momentum. 12 years of fucking terrible qb play outside of 2015 does not help anything
I don’t think he would transfer to be the #2 somewhere. And the staff has made it pretty clear there is no competition for the starting role at this point. It’s Tyler’s job. I just don’t see it being a fit. In terms of personal opinion, I haven’t seen him play enough the last few years to even have an opinion. But not being able to beat out Stetson Bennett gives some pause.
From all reports/rumors… Dante Moore - Michigan lean. Going to be tough to pull him out of Detroit. But we seem to be putting a ton of eggs in that basket, ala Will Shipley Iamaleava - seems like interest in ND has faded. Probably Bama bound Vizzina - seems to be the guy ND is clearly slow-playing while Clemson has been making him their priority. They seem to lead slightly right now. And all gets thrown into the wash if Bama finally offers Not to sound super alarmist, but Arnold was always the safest of the top QBs in this class in terms of caliber of player and interest in ND. If he ends up elsewhere and we whiff on Moore, it could get ugly. You’re hoping Avery Johnson is the next fall back plan and he’s beginning to get to the Angelli-tier of QBs. Granted, a whole different type of skill set and player than Angelli, but a kid who definitely still has some question marks.
I’m thoroughly enjoying Freeman using a PJ to fly around the country and see 5 top prospects a day. That’s neat more of that
ND Footballs carbon footprint will be so much bigger given the PJ is now not actually a gimmick but actually in frequent use
Positive recruiting side effect of the PJ - mitigate some of the negative recruiting about weather in South Bend through climate change.
If we get to that point, im pretty sure the attic, where im currently, will be waterfront here in NL, it'd be baaaaad
nah man that Erie water is basically semi trash and fertilizer-nobody wants that water. Worst Great Lake
Ohio did produce our amazing head coach, so I'm torn... it does include the worst stretch of I-80 though
