Henry is obviously awesome. But AJ Brown staying healthy and having a big game appear to be way more important to the overall success of the team. Need him to come up big. And it’d be nice if Julio could stay on the field as well.
I don't know or understand the rules for that and haven't seen anyone on the Titans beat hint at a timeline. Would imagine Vrabel would wait as long as possible to keep some uncertainty out there, even if everyone knows he's practicing and going through contact drills this week
Lazy eyed bozo is constantly to trying to be cute and pretend he's some savant like Belichick and he is costing us games because of it
Vrabel is a fucking dipshit for going for 2 and the 2 minute drill. Tannehill sucks dick. Time to move on
Tannehill is a bum. He is who we thought he was. Basically all we had to do is not turn it over there and he throws into like double coverage
How the fuck do you lose a game with 9 sacks? Just a masterclass in shitty coaching and shitty qb play.
I would give my left nut to get rid of Tannehill and somehow bring in Russ Wilson. It would never happen but I wish
After cooling off, Vrabel does dumb shit but has been way more positive than negative. Downing and Tannehill have to go though.
The worst part is that we have listened to everybody in the world talk shit about us for 3 weeks saying we are the worst 1 seed ever and we basically proved them right.
He’s done it several times. When they lined up I knew he’d only have to kick it once. Honestly can’t remember the last time we iced a kicker. Maybe Vrabel has data on it but it’s a terrible look.
Feel like part of saving timeouts on a GW kick chance is to maintain the element of surprise. If you use it, you allow the kicker an attempt with no uncertainty
He won’t. He will say some variation of “we have to coach them better” about 500 times in the off-season and we will continue to have an unimaginative shitty OC that is incapable of adjusting and we will waste another year of a HoF running back and an all-pro level DL in Simmons
He's not a coach that we're going to fire or need to fire but the guy has a pretty out of control ego and he constantly coaches to bolster himself as some gambler or super smart guy and it has hurt us in multiple games. That's a fact. Downing and Tannehill need to go but Vrabel needs to cut out these games that he periodically has. He's a good coach most of the time and other times he gets in his own way out of pure hubris
Looking at Tannehill's performances as a Titan player in the playoffs is disgusting. He's officially a fraud who has gotten a pass due to solid numbers in the regular season
I remember when there were rumors that Tom Brady was very interested in the Titans. Man how amazing would that have been the last 2 years
Tannehill’s performance is even worse because this kind of team didn’t need him to win the game against a team like the Bengals. Only needed him not to lose it. We are stuck with him though
We need to find a solid slot receiver this offseason, maybe an upgrade or 2 at DB and OL. Front 7 will be great Really hope Caleb Farley can get healthy or else it's another Jon Robinson draft blunder
He made the decision to go for 2 instead of an XP in a 6-6 game in the first quarter. If we had that one point we win that game and are kneeling it out on that last drive. There were multiple people that cost us this game...plenty of blame to go around. Vrabel was a poor coach tonight and it's flabbergasting to say otherwise
So in your mind a coach trusting his D to hold their O to FGs (which mostly happened) cost us the game vs a QB that had 3 picks with a ~50% completion? I’m not saying going for 2 was a brilliant move but saying THAT cost us the game vs Tannehill’s picks is asinine
Did you miss the part where I talked about Downing and Tannehill in the first post and then missed the second post where it said there was multiple people that cost us the game and that there was plenty of blame to go around?
No, but putting the going for 2 in the same breath as the other 2 makes no sense. Tannehill’s mistake we’re exponentially worse than Vrabel’s gamble to go for 2.
It really seems like you're arguing for the sake of arguing. I said Vrabel was a bad coach tonight, I said Downing was a bad coach tonight, I said Tannehill was a bad QB tonight. All of those things are true. I'm not trying to get into some talk about assigning some varying degrees of blame
Pretty depressing to see Firkser wide open across the middle on the last play. This loss is going to hurt for a while.
DaveGrohl I'm having a hard time locating posts from 2019-2020 where I said Henry sucked. Maybe you can help me find them? Did I want a RB in the second round? No. Did I want to give a RB a long-term deal? No. Was he inefficient early in his career and prior to getting injured this year? Yes. But not seeing what you posted in the Rodgers thread so, again, maybe help me find those posts?
Honestly Burrow really didn't do all that much special in our game. Doesn't mean he isn't fantastic but he really didn't complete hardly any high level throws Jamarr Chase however. He made our corners and safeties look like bozos
