Finally watched eternals last night. Enjoyed it though it didn’t at all seem like a marvel movie besides the two verbal references. Probably liked it more then Shang Chi.

Agreed it probably would have worked better as a show with more backstory on the characters. But they probably wouldn’t have gotten all those but actors for a show. Not sure how or if it’s going to tie into the marvel universe.

 

Didn’t particularly love either of them. Was just more entertained with eternals.

 

Need some more Kate Bishop shows.

 

Spiderman: Goes to the Beach should be the 4th film.

I got roasted in here when I put Zendaya top 5 MCU females.

 

In no order, Elizabeth Olsen, ScarJo, Florence Pugh, Brie Larson, Emily VanCamp, Zendaya, Marisa Tomei, Tessa Thompson, Natalie Portman, Evangeline Lilly, Gemma Chan, Zoe Saldana, Gwyneth, Haley Atwell is quite a competition, and that list probably leaves off another dozen contenders for a top 5.

And she has no clue which Marvel movies she’s actually in

 

Replace Gwyneth with Hailee immediately. I'm also probably missing a number of Wakandans and Rachel McAdams.

There's a guy on Tik Tok @moviedeathblows who is doing a series right now called "Proving Hero by Chad Kroeger works in any movie" and he's adding that song to a bunch of Marvel, DC, LotR, GoT, HP, etc. scenes and posting them.

He just posted one the other day of the AG saving MJ scene in No Way Home and it's amazing. It's so cheesy and great.

I finally watched Eternals, as well.

It's ok. Gemma Chen is by far the best part of the move ( the actress, not the character she played ).

Let There Be Carnage is fucking atrocious. It’s bottom tier cinema. Definitely not better than the 1st Venom or Eternals. Shit, it’s not better than New Mutants. Buuuut it’s a gawd damn travesty to have it over Blade and Blade 2.

 

It’s better than Eternals and New Mutants. Agree on the second part, Blade fucking rules.

 

The saving grace of Let There Be Carnage is that it's like 85 minutes long

 

I liked both Venom movies

 

I liked New Mutants but I also went in fully expecting it to be awful

 

Also, 2015 Fantastic 4 is not low enough.

 

2005 Fantastic Four was like peak old Hollywood producer garbage. They had a set piece in the latter part of the second act of the movie where Chris Evans goes to compete in a motocross event or something to that effect.

Just absolutely unhinged shit from out of touch Hollywood people who think the people love extreme sports so we need to put it in a superhero movie.
