Makers Cask Strength sucks. Tried my private selection side by side and Cask Strength is just super meh compared to their better stuff.
Hey guys, if anyone finds a bottle of Evan Williams Single Barrel barreled on 5/7/13, can you buy it and let me know so I can buy it off you? The April to June bottles are out and about.
Underwhelming for sure. I did like the makers 46 cask strength but probably not worth the price increase over regular 46
It's honestly been ages since I've had W12. I do enjoy OWA quite a bit. I just think the Buffalo Trace stuff tends to be a bit over hyped.
If I did that I couldn’t have someone see it and tell them I don’t like it very much like the cunt I am.
What's the secondary on Birthday Bourbon these days? I had it several years ago and loved it but haven't been paying close attention for a few years now because secondary just got out of control on everything.
I was a liquor store in ft wayne yesterday and saw they had bottles of the blue stellum. I ended up leaving with knob creek 12. How big of a mistake did i make?
i really like my first bottle of dovetail. i retract anything i said before about being uncertain about spending $100 on a bottle of liquor.
Are ppl actually paying $1500 for a bottle of 10 yr van winkle on secondary markets? Or is Google misleading me
I just had a glass of it in the bar for $15 Looked up the proof and was shocked at the $$$ it said I knew 23 yr was expensive but I didn't realize ppl would pay over $1k for the 10 yr
Shit has basically doubled in the last year. I have two unopened Booker’s Ryes that I’m thinking about finally selling because I’ve seen them moving for close to $2500 each. It’s an amazing whiskey, but I can get a lot of good whiskey for 5k.
