All the Philly stuff is great though. The best mockumentaries do well when they highlight the setting
I need to get my wife to watch this as she's a teacher in the city. maybe this could be the first show since The Wire we actually enjoy together.
I have been watching it. Haven’t seen this weeks episode if it aired yet. Don’t know what day it airs, I don’t get around to watching it until Friday afternoon at earliest.
Hadn’t heard of American Auto until this post but I’m watching it now and like it. Lot of potential and I like the cast.
Da-ddy, can I have ten thousand dollars to open a microbrewery that also serves frozen yogurt? Imma call it Microsoft.
Just watched the last couple eps, this show is still very good. I’d love for Ava and Greg to switch jobs at some point.
Should have been more specific, I’d like to see Greg become principal and Ava become a teacher or some other kind of employee at Abbott. Maybe her no longer being principal would take away at lot of the funniness of her character, though.
I’m currently watching the latest episode so it was a reference to him saying he’d been training to be principal and everyone saying they didn’t remember him mentioning it before. I was pretending to not knowing he’d been wanting that job. I do agree that making her something else would ruin the “Micheal Scottish” thing she has going.
The Boyfriend was hilarious in the last episode. "There's about to be a rap beef w Jay-Z. Everyone knows he stole my laugh ha- HHAHH!" "You know Im a feminist. It's why I let you pay for everything."
Give me Jacob with fellow white “woke” teachers all day long and hungover Barbara was top notch Episode def gave me The Office “Casino Party” vibes
Mr. Johnson has been great the past couple of episodes. Him screaming “letsssss goooooooooo” when they unveiled Jacobs’ classes mural during last week’s episode cracked me up.
