Not to mention we just hit 20 years since our Rose bowl victory Was a kid but was lucky enough to go to both the Rose bowl and Fiesta bowl the year after
You think everyone outside of Coral Gables would have learned their lesson on Mike Ryan after both the HC and AD search but here we are
he needs to stfu though who cares if they think Briles turned us down. It's up to Miami (Mario specifically) to hire someone that will make them stfu. Fighting everyone on Twitter and Mario turns around and hires Ponce would make it a bigger scene then it was.
Not sure why there’s this inherent fear that Mario hires Ponce. Guy was his WR coach what, 10 years ago? He never considered him once for a position at Oregon. Why the fuck would he consider him for OC when he has an even larger budget to work with
I mean it is pretty ridiculous how hard Arky fans want the Briles story to be true. Like why does it matter to you whether or not Briles was offered the job? You clearly are in your feels if you are getting some self worth on the thought that a coach turned down UM for Arky.
cant the same be said for what Ruiz is doing. who cares. get awesome OC and we can be fake rejected in the media for everything.
sure. Imo, I think he's in his feels a bit that he's batting 1.000 on UM news but still isn't getting the respect for it. He joked about it, but not being credited for breaking the Mario hire definitely bruised his ego.
Ruiz needs to shut the fuck up. He himself said that he wasn't in the business of breaking news when Mario got hired and probably should have receded back into being a non-insider after that happened. Now he just looks/sounds ridiculous
While it’s really nice to have all these studs on campus this weekend, it would be a whole lot nicer if we actually had coordinators to help recruit them. Can’t imagine Mario thought we wouldn’t have an OC or DC when he started setting this all up
yea, the due dilligence portion of the show is over. It's time to shit or get off the pot. Even if you are bringing in two guys from the NFL who are still in the playoffs, you need to announce and let it be known to assist in the NSD push.
Start to think the Cribby guy doesn’t know anything and wants attention. He lost his source recently I’m assuming
Love how every program’s former players magically come out of the woodwork whenever a coach is fired or leaves. It’s hilarious that y’all think you are exponentially better off with a guy who’s never even been a sole coordinator before
Reading the quote and the comments in the tweet. I knew little of your fanbase before all of this but the level of arrogance and delusion that y’all have in the 6 weeks since Mario left is off the chart
No one is saying that either. We significantly upgraded over what we had and that’s indisputable. Must suck to be stuck with what you have
FSU may be fine again one day, may not. And you are right it doesn’t seem to be you guys on here. I’ll read the 247 boards sometimes and that’s where my comment stemmed from. To be honest I think UF hiring Napier was the top hire outside of the big names. Edit: Until I saw he named his special teams coach “game changer coordinator”
Jason Candle turned down an offer just last week. They haven’t been waiting for Dorsey if they’re offering other people.
Not a bad half, but need to do a better job on VT's 3 point shooters. Too many open shots for a team that is top 10 in 3 point percentage.
Nice to show up with a B- performance and still walk away with a double digit road win. 8-2 through the first half of the conference schedule, I'll certainly take that.
Supposedly he’s pretty good, but with this year’s talent in SFL, he should probably be our worst commit at the position Hykeem Williams needs to pull the trigger as the dude is a lifer, and he’s a stud Jalen Brown will be a fight that I doubt we win Doubt Innis really gives us a shot Edit: Forgot Seymour committed to Manny last year, don’t see a reason for Mario to reoffer the kid and let him go his way
He'll be a mid-4 star by the end of the summer circuit. Not like his offer list is too shabby either.
Agreed, but like I said, with this years talent pool, a mid-4* should be our lowest rated WR on the board
